**THROWBACK POST**
November 26 2015:
Went for a walk in the light snow this afternoon!! Brrrrrr!!! Then stopped by a friends to chat for a bit. Now getting ready to watch, “It’s a Wonderful Life”.
One Thanksgiving dinner, one internet outage, and one huge Lillian meltdown later. But, first, the dishes! I am truly grateful for mindfulness, meditation, and love.
Sending oceans of warmth, love, light, peace, joy, and laughter to YOU!!
April 9 2018:
Lillian Darnell and Camilla April 2018 Date Day ….
First stop – Wilbur May Arboretum …. An amazingly beautiful and vibrant oasis. Incredible amounts of bird chatter too. Plus giant turkeys!! Ended with walking the labyrinth …. Love ending our visits here with this meditative walk!
Second stop: Parmesan sea salt fries for Lillian and oh so yummy green juice and coconut yogurt for me.
Then back home and to the lodge for eating our dessert of vegan ginger cookie for me and brownie for Lillian. Next up, UNO and reading. What a beautiful day!!
Last on the agenda: A walk around the lake. Deeply beautiful and peaceful. Sat for a while on a lovely huge rock with an amazing view.
February 8 2018:
Wonderful walk with Thomas this afternoon. This amazing young man causes me to stay in the present moment and l i s t e n!!!!
For the topics he wishes to discuss require more than a yes or no. I find myself responding “I don’t know” quite often.
He’s 12 and he likes to talk about some deep stuff. He told Lillian tonight that age doesn’t equate to how smart you are. I am so grateful, grateful, grateful for him.
Tonight after dinner he thanked me for listening to him and talking with him about all that interests him. I do, at times, get frustrated with his topics and I don’t hide it. I’m thankful that I can share honestly with him at those times and roll with it at those times when I find the topics fascinating and interesting. xoxo

Wonderful garden party for Camilla.

Sunset walk to end the day. Incredibly beautiful. Thomas had a great time directing the water as it made its way to the drain.

Sunset walk for Team TLC. Spotted this tree cradling an amazing cloud and more rock love. What an incredible sky tonight! Yum! Thank you and bring us more please.

Sunset walk yesterday. Incredibly beautiful. Grateful to nature as there was complaining and grumpiness along the way. Nature is amazing at absorbing and transmuting. xoxoxo

Thomas and I had another therapeutic nature walk night before last.
Thomas says, “I want to stay out here as long as possible.”

February 11 2013:
Thomas loved our date day hike yesterday. Some of his thoughts while we were way up there … “I could stay out here forever. I feel like I can do anything. This is the best day of my life. I am so glad that we did this. And he thanked the sun for warming us (it was cold)!!”
Now he wants to go hiking on the Tahoe Rim Trail and become a member of the 160 mile club. I think that sounds like an awesome idea for this young man … and his Mamma!!
