Throwback Post: Movie Night: The Adventure of the Wrong Santa Claus and Santa Claus vs Cupid and Scrooge

**THROWBACK POST**

December 21 2013:

Pre-Movie time! A 1914 and 1915 Thomas Edison silent short. These are so FUN!

Team TLC movie night … Haven’t ever seen this version. Wonderful and heartwarming in any version!

“No space of regret can make amends for one life’s opportunity misused.” And “I don’t know what to do!” cried Scrooge, laughing and crying in the same breath; and making a perfect Laocoön of himself with his stockings. “I am as light as a feather, I am as happy as an angel, I am as merry as a school-boy. I am as giddy as a drunken man. A merry Christmas to every-body! A happy New Year to all the world! Hallo here! Whoop! Hallo!” -Charles Dickens

December 24 2018:

Team TLC Extra Movie Night – “Scrooge” – Another seasonal favorite.

I say, “Beautiful, heartwarming, and timeless.”

Thomas says, “I like it. It’s a good movie and I like the ending.”

Lillian says, “ Good, like the end, and my favorite character is Alice (Scrooge’s sister).”

Team TLC + The Romano Duo Movie Night – My choice: “A Christmas Carol” – 1951 Alastair Sim version

I say, “A favorite at this time of year – A message to carry throughout all of time.”

Lillian says, “Good, Christmassy, 100% recommended, suggest you read the book first, and my favorite part is the end.”

Thomas says, “I like it and it’s a good movie. I like watching it every year and it was more fun with The Romano Duo.”
