July 14 2018:
Team TLC movie night – Lillian’s choice: “Rio” …. Second time around for this one. Lillian wanted to see it again.
Lillian says, “Good, has some funny parts, musical, favorite character is Jewel, and I like some of the story plot.”
I say, “Very colorful … and LOUD. Ha!!”
Thomas says, “It was good.”
July 7 2018:
Team TLC movie night – Thomas’ choice: “Ferdinand”
Thomas says, “It was good and Lovey wants food.”
Lillian says, “Good, funny, liked all the morals it had, and I like the story line.”
I say, “Absolutely loved this movie! A heart warming testament that things don’t have to be done the way they’ve always been done. It’s okay to do it different. All wrapped within the loving kindness of friendship and family.”
June 23 2018:
Team TLC Movie Night: My choice: “Eddie the Eagle”
I say, “I love this movie! The underdog who proves all the naysayers wrong. Based on the true story of Eddie Edwards, British ski jumper in the 1988 Winter Olympics.”

Thomas says, “I liked it a lot. First good drama I’ve seen in a while. It had the opposite of what other drama movies have. It was good.”
Lillian says, “Good, dramatic, action-filled, emotional, inspirational, and liked some of the music.”
June 16 2018:
Team TLC movie night – Lillian’s choice: “Boy and the World”
Lillian says, “Good, liked the colors, and liked some of the music.”
I say, “My tailbone hurts from the fall I took and I don’t feel very good so I have no idea what this was even about and I didn’t even understand the sections I watched.”
Thomas didn’t want to watch this one. I don’t blame him! Ha!
June 9 2018:
Team TLC movie night – Thomas’ choice: “The Incredible Mr. Limpet” …. We watched this years ago. Thomas wanted to see it again.
Thomas says, “I like it and it was funny.”
Lillian is in Beatty, Nevada. Halfway home!
I say, “Just a fun and silly movie!”

Thomas says, “I like the comedy and like the first cafe scene.”
Lillian is in Arizona with The Romano Duo.
I say, “It’s S’wonderful. It’s S’marvelous!”

I say, “Wonderful story of true friendship and that it’s okay to do things different.”
Thomas says, “It was good and I liked it.”
Lillian says, “Good, liked the music, my favorite character is Celestine, and good moral.”
May 13 2018:
Team TLC extra movie night with The Romano Duo – “The Peanuts Movie”
Thomas says, “Good.”
Lillian says, “Good, funny, makes reference to the old comics and episodes, liked the music, and favorite characters are Snoopy and Woodstock.”
I say, “Not my style movie, yet, I was a glad to see the reference to Charlie Brown being liked by another student due to his character.”
May 12 2018:
Team TLC movie night: Lillian’s choice – “The Breadwinner”
Lillian says: “Very emotional, liked the story, good, great moral, favorite character is Parvana, and I thought the book was more kid friendly, and I liked it better.”
I say, “Heartbreaking.” from the movie, “Raise your hearts not your voices.” xoxo
Thomas says, “It’s what I expected and would like to have known more of the actual story.”
May 5 2018:
Team TLC movie night: My choice – “The King and I” …. 1956 version
I say, “Incredibly interesting. Loved the play put on for the English ambassador.”
Thomas is visiting The Romano Duo in Surprise, Arizona.
Lillian says, “Good, liked that it is a musical, my favorite part is the dancing, and my favorite character is Anna.”
