Lillian says, “Good, funny, favorite character is Adelina, liked the moral of never give up and keep dreaming, and 100% recommend.”
I say, “Lighthearted story about friendship and learning to think of others. Enjoyed watching it with Lillian.”

Last night: Extra movie night for me: “42 – The Jackie Robinson Story”
“Powerful and inspiring movie. Chadwick Boseman and Harrison Ford were phenomenal! My heart is racing, my spirit soaring. 42 = Courage, bravery, strength. I’m so glad I watched this!”

Extra movie night for me last night. “Roll Bounce”
A movie about the roller-disco craze of the late 70’s. I’m in. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie! Part of my youth was spent at the local skating rink. So much fun. Ours used to have all night skates where they’d show a movie. I remember them showing Jaws for one of the movies. “All Skate”!!!

Team TLC Movie Night – My choice: “The Darjeeling Limited”
I loved this quirky movie. Three dysfunctional brothers and a crazy, humbling journey. I really like the music and Owen Wilson, Adrian Brody, and Jason Schwartzman were excellent.
Just me for this one as no one else was interested. Been on my list for at least 5 or 6 years. Finally!!

Team TLC Movie Night – Lillian’s choice: “A Wrinkle in Time” (2018 version)
Lillian says, “Good, amazing, liked the music, and my favorite character is Meg.”
I say, “It was okay. It’s been a while since I’ve seen the 2003 version, yet, I think I like that one better. It seemed to have more depth. I liked the actors and actresses in this one, though.”
Thomas says, “It was alright. Like the 2003 version better.”

Extra movie night for me and Thomas last night: Spider-Man (2002 version directed by Sam Raimi) Thomas had never seen this version.

I say, “I’m with Thomas in liking the MCU version better. Yet, enjoyed watching this with him!”

Movies! Watched a few good ones.
Spider-man – Far From Home – Thomas’s choice … Second time around for this one. Finished off our year long adventure of watching all of the Marvel Avenger movies, from the beginning.

I say, “Another great movie to see for a second time. I have so much loved watching these with Thomas.”

I say, “WoW! Powerful message. I loved this movie. My heart pounds in solidarity with the message. I cannot believe, and yet, I can believe I had never watched this. I suppose it was in perfect time.”
