I’ve seen this, many years ago, when it first debuted. It was so long ago, it almost felt like I hadn’t seen it before. Decided at 15 years old, it was okay to add this to Thomas’s list of movies to choose from.

Team TLC Extra Movie Night – “TALES from EARTHSEA”

A studio ghibli movie we had not seen. In some aspects it was eerily similar to current events. A fever that begins with the animals, spreads to the humans, along with a mysterious imbalance that threatens to destroy the land. 😳

Thomas says, “It was good. I liked it.”

Lillian says, “Good, liked the background music, and my favorite character was Arren’s shadow.”

Team TLC movie night – Lillian’s choice: “The Secret Garden” – the original 1949 version

Lillian says, “Like the story, favorite character is Mary, like the background music, and a favorite story ever since I was a young girl.”

We’ve seen a couple of versions, but had never seen the original. I think this one is my favorite. Love Margaret O’Brien! A true testament to the healing power of nature and love. ❤️❤️❤️

Extra movie night for me “Dark Waters”

Maddening, mind-blowing, disgusting.

I give myself a hard time for how much time and effort I put into researching just about every single thing I buy. From the smallest household object to Thomas’s new bed. I will no longer be so hard on myself. There’s a reason I put all this effort into it.

This movie dramatizes attorney Robert Bilott’s case against DuPont over their contamination of a West Virginia town of unregulated chemicals. The case began in 1998 and still continues. 🤯🤯🤯
