March 31 2016:
For dinner last night we had an extraordinary breakfast-for-dinner. Eggs, toast, and yummiest breakfast potatoes I’ve ever made or tasted. It was food bliss!
Then Lillian and I took a sunset walk. Had fun trying to get these geese to pose for me. They did a great job. The entire walk was so beautiful. xoxoxo

Sibling disagreements … Ugh! Makes my neck immediately tense! “What I have found to be an incredible combination for helping Thomas and Lillian discover their own way out of the tensions is when I stay calm and mindful and use the surroundings of the moment as a teacher. During these times creativity and improvising blossom into the situation.

In one instance, the arguing kept going back and forth. He says such and such. She responds with such and such. No, I’m right. You’re wrong. You’re such and such. On and on.

What an AMAZING day!! Spent the morning preparing a proposal for a mini-grant that was due by noon. Then off to Bowers Pool for some swimming fun for Thomas and Lillian. The grounds at Bowers Mansion are so unbelievably beautiful, peaceful and mesmerizing! I could have stayed there …. forever! YUM!!

From Lillian y’all : Hi y’all for those who are going to the 18p- conference this year, i’d like your 18p- child or teenager to practice jumping in the pool by bouncing high on their bed if it is bouncy and if you let them. But for those who aren’t, i’d like you to not give up hope. I hope those who are coming to 18p- conference. Hope you have a great time.

Thomas got a physical this afternoon so we can turn in his application for horse riding at Adaptive Center for Therapeutic Riding! You would think he has never been to the doctor!! (Well, actually, it’s been a year or two!) I hope poor Dr. Bertz isn’t having a hard time going to sleep tonight still reeling from all the questions, jokes and talking Mr. T shared with her.
He LOVED getting his knee “hit with that hard thing” and watching his leg jump. I told him his new nickname is Sir Talks-A-Lot! I handled it all very well since I spilled my entire bottle of water in my tote bag and spent the whole time trying to dry out my writing journal, the 3 books in the bag and the physical form she was to fill out!
Literally, it was a mini-lake! I’m so glad I meditate! It was a GREAT adventure!! Just have some books with crispy pages and a journal with crispy pages to match …. and a little boy who had a FUN time going to the doctor! Big hug to anyone who needs it tonight!

Team TLC is finally looking to move anytime between this weekend and May 1st. I have been looking the past several months. Check Craig’s List every day but thought I’d see if anyone knows of a place not listed there. Looking for 3 bedrooms (or 2 plus bonus room) 1 and 1/2 or 2 bathrooms. We would love to stay in the South Reno/Damonte Ranch/Virginia Foothills/South Meadows area but are open to other areas of Reno and Sparks. We would also love to have a place located near a walking trail so we can continue having our walks. A house would be awesome but also looking at town homes and condos. No upstairs units though as Lillian can’t safely do outdoor stairs. I’m looking at apartments too if anyone is aware of any positive/negative feedback about apartments, would love to hear them! Thanks tons and tons! Hugs and smiles to all y’all!

Figured Spring Break was a good opportunity to invite Thomas and Lillian to each choose a night they get to cook dinner. Thomas’ turn tonight. Trader Joe’s organic mac n cheese and mini pizza! It was really really good! Thomas can’t wait until next Monday night when he gets to cook again! Lillian’s turn is coming up Thursday night!

Team TLC Book scavenger hunt adventures!!!
Surprise scavenger hunt stop!!
20 minute Team TLC cleaning of house done and wrapped up with a dance party to Halloween music!! “I’m your boogie man, boogie man ….”
Look what was waiting when we got home from our Scavenger Hunt Adventures!!! The SECOND order of books! Not many left from the 1st order, so this arrived just in time …. Another one coming by next Wednesday! Whew! My cup so runneth over today …. I’m grateful for this awesome adventure called LIFE!!!
