Team TLC movie night: Thomas’ choice: “Back to the Future Part III”
Thomas says, “Good, liked it as much as the first two.”
Lillian says, “Good, adventurous, inspirational, awesome, suspenseful, and amazing.”
I say, “So fun to have watched all three of these with Thomas and Lillian. Just love, love, love the Doc!”
March 11 2017:
Team TLC movie night … My choice: “Her Majesty, Mrs Brown” –
I say, “Loved the acting of Billy Connolly and Judi Dench. Beautiful music and scenery!”
Thomas says, “A very good movie. Lots of drama. The loyalty of John Brown was interesting. I wonder why it was considered such a scandal.”
Lillian says, “Good, dramatic, great, and interesting.”
March 4 2017:
Team TLC movie night: Lillian’s choice: “Pot O’Gold” – 2nd time around for this one.
Lillian says, “Good, musical, classic, funny, awesome, and 100% recommended.”
I say, “Just a fun lighthearted show. Love James Stewart in this one. Great comedy about fast improvising. Loved seeing it again as it’s been a couple of years.”
Thomas says, “I like it. A good classic. Like how they keep tricking each other, like the title a lot. Very good movie. My favorite character is Jimmy (James Stewart) and liked them all.”
February 25 2017:
Team TLC movie night …. Thomas’ choice – “Back to the Future II” ….
Thomas says, “I like it a lot, it’s good, like the idea, like the action, and the time traveling.”
Lillian says, “Good, amazing, cool, great, and funny.”
I say, “Fun to watch with Thomas and Lillian. Just love Christopher Lloyd as the professor!”
February 20 2016:
Team TLC movie night ….. “Salmon Fishing in the Yemen” –
Thomas says, “Funny, good, moving, happy, twist ending, fun to watch, and just plain good.”
Lillian says, “Good, twist ending, awesome, cool, funny texting scenes, interesting, suspenceful, amazing, and funny.”
There were some scenes I had to sensor due to language and intimacy. However, I sure enjoyed it! “Life, love, passion, faith, miracles, kindness, spirituality, and wisdom. Three worlds bound by water. If you dream a dream strong enough ….” … Loved it!!!
February 18 2017:
Team TLC movie night: My choice – “Unfinished Song”
I say, “Love, love, love this movie. Do what brings you joy, no matter what others think. Sing your darn song and let your rainbow light shine. It’s their problem if they laugh! Love Vanessa Redgrave.
I was a happy blubbering mess for much of this movie and I loved every minute of it. My take on it has almost everything to do with the day I experienced today. Huge huge big stuff. What a way to top off this pivotal day!”

Team TLC movie night: My choice – The Englishman Who Went Up a Hill But Came Down a Mountain –
I say, “Heartwarming and testament to coming together to accomplish a meaningful event. Loved the light humor too.”
Thomas says, “I liked it a lot. An original and interesting story. Really enjoyed it; except for the mushy parts.”
Lillian says, “Good, romantic, original, great, amazing, wonderful theme of confidence.”
January 14 2017:
Team TLC Movie Night …. Thomas‘ choice: “Grave of the Fireflies” –
Thomas says, “Not what I was expecting. It was sad.”
Lillian says, “Sad, yet had good parts and interesting songs.”
I say, “Quite emotional. A young boy trying his best to care for he and his younger sister. Causes one to think of and know what’s truly important in this life.”

Team TLC extra movie night: My choice: “Julie & Julia” –
I say, “I watched this for the first time in 2007. It was one of the reinforcing messages to teach myself everything about blogging.
Which, I did. I spent hours and hours learning. And, then I jumped in!! I purchased my, Thomas’, and Lillian’s names as domains as I knew this would be important for them later in life. Thomas was 2 years old at the time. He’s 11 years old now. (CamillaDowns.com and ThomasADarnell.com and LillianDarnell.com … )
I began blogging at Pink Elephant Books .com and then Lillian joined me over there. I think she was 6 years old. Then at some point she and I switched to writing at our namesake blogs. And, later, Thomas did too. And at some point I began an online journal at The Team TLC .com (this blog).
I loved this movie then and now as, for me, it is about listening to our intuition, divine messages, and following those messages without hesitation. xoxoxo”
Thomas says, “I liked it. I like food. I liked that she was driven by a passion for something. I liked how it switched back and forth in time. I like how it is similar to my 365 photography project.”
Lillian says, “Good, I like how it has to do with food, liked how she was passionate, like the humor, my favorite parts were Julie’s blog, and after she cooked the last dish, and how she got to see Julia’s kitchen.”

★★★★★ – I thought this was a movie; but instead it’s about ten shorts. I suggested to Thomas and Lillian that we just watch one or two and then put in a full length movie. No Way! They were enjoying watching it so much they chose to keep watching this and laughing, laughing, laughing!!
