One of Lillian’s assignments was to research our trip to Salt Lake City this July for The Chromosome 18 Registry & Research Society Conference. I am enjoying the illustrations! She says she couldn’t find any attractions we should see between Reno and Salt Lake City …
Anyone have suggestions for her to add to this report? “The estimated gas price for a one way trip is $60.93 but if we were to take a round trip, the estimated gas price would be $121.86. The best route is I-80 E for Utah which takes about 7 hours and 6 minutes if we didn’t have any tourist attractions or rest stops. There aren’t any tourist attractions except for the Great Salt Lake. It’s also like a desert on the way there. Salt Lake City used to be covered with the Great Salt Lake (though it was called Lake Bonneville back then). Utah was the 45th state to join the USA. Mivida is Utah’s state soil. Utah, We Love Thee is the state song. Quaking Aspen is Utah’s current state tree but another of Utah’s state trees is blue spruce. Ringed-Bill Gull is Utah’s state bird.”

For new FB friends … My 11 yr old daughter, Lillian, travels to fairy land every night while she sleeps … For everyone else following the fairy land adventures … Lillian says she saw me last night in Fairy Land! I am lucky enough to be attending Fairy Academy now y’all! I’m so excited!!!!!!! WoooHooooo!!

I had the most amazing walk with Thomas yesterday. The trail was freshly sealed so it was shiny. Thomas declared that it had lip gloss on! Yep! That’s what it looked like.
Then at dinner we all 3 made up riddles and after dinner washed, dried and put away the dishes together. After dinner, Thomas declared, “I will be happy from now on …. no matter what!” He asked, “Who’s with me?” Both Lillian and I raised our hands. We declared it Team TLC Happy Love World!
As I tucked them in bed, told them to fasten their seat belts, have a safe flight and don’t walk around the cabin unless the fasten seat belt signed has been turned off! I LOVE this thing called LOVE! I love Thomas and Lillian. I love me. I love you. …. I LOVE …. xoxo

Throwback Post: Hand Painted Rocks with Poems While Reading at Sunset

Thomas wasn’t alone in feeling inspired by rocks. I’ll be posting these on my website this week and thought I would give a sneak peak here. xoxo
Each is hand painted with acrylic, signed, dated, and sealed with gloss finish.
Each also comes with a one of a kind poem written by me. The poems and words are directly from the heart.
Much love and heart energy has gone into each one. Let me know should one of these speak to you and you would like to claim it before I post on the website.
You will know if one is meant for you. I will get pricing information to you and will share the poem with you also.
These are from Washoe lake when it was dry last October and some are from Boca Reservoir from almost 2 years ago. I knew they wanted to be decorated and shared.

This morning when I woke up I set my intention and my goal for the day. That goal was to respond with love in every situation and to be shown how to share love and joy. On the way home from taking Lillian to Kat McLain’s place I stopped by the grocery store. I was leaving the store when I noticed a neighbor who I know has no car and uses a taxi when going places. Before I knew what was happening I turned around, walked up to her, and asked if she needed a ride home. She was very grateful and happy! So blessed I set love as my goal today. Sound like something you’d like to try as a goal? You never know where it may lead and it sure feels amazing! xoxo

Lillian’s choice last night for me to read to her before bed! Brought back such sweet memories …. I bought this book at a yard sell when she was a wee little 4 pounder (about 12 years ago)! Read it to her almost every night and she still remembers that! So full of love and joy …. xoxo … Sending some to y’all too!

Throwback Post: Ducklings and Goslings While Walking

Incredible walk with Thomas and Lillian this afternoon. We sat for a bit and watched the ducks, ducklings, geese, goslings, and birds.
I told a story about ducks and ducklings, we looked at leaves and clouds.
After dinner we looked up geese in the “Handbook of Nature Study” by Anna Botsford Comstock. That was FUN and so interesting reading about things we had already been seeing. Loved by all. xoxo

Overflowing with gratitude for an amazing, beautiful, anonymous, giver of these goodies for Thomas and Lillian! Arrived via UPS yesterday and Monday. Thomas has a second love now, right up there with LEGOS. This “Chess Once A Pawn A Time” set is amazing! Says to only spend between 20 to 30 minutes at a time studying the books with your child. He read both books and soaked it all into that amazing soul of his in about an hour. He was so flipping excited! We played our first game before bed. Went fast cause I have no clue what I’m doing! Thomas says, “I love chess!” Thank you, thank you, thank you mystery giver!

Throwback Post: Dance the Night Away

The day began with some lovely meditating, then a huge good morning hug from Thomas. On the way home from dropping T & L at school danced my booty off (in my mind) to Van Halen’s “Dance the Night Away” … Just LOVE that song!! Got so so so much done today!! After dinner sweet Ms. Lillian had a wild n crazy melt down. Fortunately, my inner Buddha came forth to remain calm. Later Thomas timed us to see how long he and I could hug. I think it was about 50 seconds …. If you haven’t noticed, Thomas has a hard time remaining still for longer than 50 seconds! HA! Next up, a game of UNO with each of them and tucking a sweet calmed down Lillian into bed with tips and conversation about what happened and making different choices next time. As an amazing and love filled day comes to an end, I say I LOVE LOVE. Love is completely, totally, utterly, the answer … xoxo
