Throwback Post: Walk With Me – Guided Walks

**THROWBACK POST**

May 7 2016:

I heard somewhere one should do what they love and what comes naturally .. 😉 …. xoxoxo …. So …. Let’s go on walkabout! … “For the past 17 years I have been going for walks. What started out as an activity simply to satisfy my desire to be active; turned into a ritual for healing, releasing, discovering my authentic self, and connecting with nature.

I offer to you unique one of a kind “Walk With Me” sessions. Each persons session is tailored, therefore no two sessions will look the same. In addition, no two sessions will be alike for those partaking in multiple sessions.

These sessions are not guided hikes by any means. We simply go for a short walkabout … ” Go here to learn more …

**THROWBACK POST**

May 7 2015:

Lillian is fundraising to help pay for going to The Chromosome 18 conference this year. She’s decided to use one of her abstract art drawings titled, “Egyptian Eye”, to help out (and she’s also donating some of it toDemi’s Difference). Here’s her blog post where she explains why this is important to her … xoxo

Throwback Post: I Bid You Farewell

**THROWBACK POST**

May 5 2016:

It was my turn to choose a Team TLC family activity last night. YAY!

So we held our second quarter Letting Go Burning Ceremony.

Wonderfully inspiring to release and bid farewell to habits, fears, and beliefs that no longer serve. And to experience Thomas and Lillian embracing this and participating too!

We ended by holding hands and committing to our next Team TLC Adventure.

Call it whatever you’d like. Create whatever theme fits your lifestyle. That’s not the important piece. May you experiment with a family gathering once a month, once per quarter, whatever works. It’s magical indeed. xoxo

Throwback Post: Here Comes The Sun

**THROWBACK POST**

May 5 2015:

For tonight’s “Life Story” the clue word from Lillian was “mind” and the story ended in us listening to Nina Simone sing “Here Comes The Sun”. Either Thomas or Lillian give me a clue word, I think for a few minutes and just tell them what comes to heart. What came tonight was a movie I watched in the mid 90’s (don’t remember the name) where I was first exposed to Nina Simone and her amazing voice and music. The main character loved Nina Simone. One of the line’s from the movie’s main character was, “You know, I never did used to mind about the little things.” For some reason I have never forgotten that line and have said it from time to time to myself. The movie ended with the main character walking down the street to her freedom while Nina Simone sang “Here Comes the Sun” … WOW! That was cool!

Throwback Post: Parent Day Tea with Homemade Fries and Improvising

**THROWBACK POST**

May 16 2014:

Took another trip down memory lane this morning on the drive back home … This time the courtesy of The Cult’s Sanctuary and Wild Flower … Wild is right! Wild & crazy memories! Just love how powerful music can be … xoxo

**********************************

I have a very important appointment at 1:30 today. I get to be treated to tea by the amazing dude I get to call my son and his awesome classmates! xoxo

Greeted at the door, taken to a seat, served a beverage and food and then entertained with poetry from each child! YAY!!!!

“Why would someone sell something that doesn’t work just to make money?” -Thomas … In a book he’s reading right now (Johnny Swanson), one of the characters discovered a cure for heartburn and began to sell it. His family needed the money. We were talking about it and then Thomas turned the conversation to the above statement … he wasn’t really asking me a question, just making a statement. He keeps me smiling …

See this Vise Grip thingy? Works perfect to turn a broken bath tub handle on and off!! Much much much better then when I was sticking the broken piece back in and struggling to get it to turn. That completely quit working yesterday so it was time to find a different fix! I’m so HappY!! The cold water for the bathtub turns on and off effortlessly now!! WoooHooooo!

Thank you to Brian Benson (G. Brian Benson) for such an amazing endorsement of my book! A comment from Brian a few days before the garage purging that led to the creation of this book re-ignited my drive to write a book. Blessed and grateful to have you as a friend Brian!! “Camilla’s light shines very bright in “D iz for Different – One Woman’s Journey to Acceptance”. She offers a wonderful combination of heart, intelligence, drive and a true inner desire to help families who are going through the trials, tribulations and loving moments of having a child with special needs. By authentically sharing her own story, hers is a voice of compassion, support and guidance.” -G. Brian Benson – Award-winning author and advocate of inspiration.
