Last night Thomas exclaimed, “I love our house!” Then jumped on the floor and “hugged” the house! Love!

November 18 2014:
While I was making dinner tonight I kept thinking how hungry I was and that I sure would like some sesame crackers and hummus to snack on. I was thinking this for nearly 15 or 20 minutes. Thomas came in the kitchen with this note, got out the hummus and stuck 2 crackers in it with the note next to it. WOW! Thanks for reading my mind Thomas! xoxo

Thomas told me this morning that he dreamed we were drawing hearts on fogged up windows. YAY! We even have fun in his dreams! Spreading loving-kindness in dream land. xoxo

November 11 2013:
A few days ago Thomas told me, “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure.” I said, “Is that right?”
He told me, “Yes, because a table with only 3 legs may be trash to one person, but to a person who uses their imagination it could be a monster with 3 legs.”
HA! I suppose some people would consider a monster a treasure!

“I wonder if anyone else my age likes to listen to Frank Sinatra and that era music?” – Thomas … xoxo
After Thomas said this he commented, “People would profit from listening to this type of music.” …. And he didn’t mean the money kind of profit! Seriously, our Pandora station is permanently set to Mambo Italiano station. He detests the new versions of many of these songs and does not like any version Michael Buble sings. He says he detects inauthenticity in his singing …. This is one kid who knows what he likes and doesn’t like and can tell you why too!
He leaves me in awe the way he applies his intuitive inauthenticity detector to everything!! Movies, people, businesses, politics, the energy in homes, businesses, stores …. etc.
“Blue Suede Shoes” is one of my Elvis favorites! I grew up in Mississippi and I remember many trips with my Aunt to visit Graceland in Tennessee. Elvis was born and raised in Tupelo, MS and before he was famous my grandfather picked him up hitchhiking one day … HA! xoxo

November 30 2013:
The making of homemade gifts has begun! Thomas just wrapped me a box bursting with love … He says there’s so much love in it he had problems taping it! He’s been making gifts all morning since the poor little fella made an inappropriate choice this morning and fibbed about washing his hair. He’s still grasping that this Momma mostly knows when he’s not being truthful.
I had to explain to him that my love for him has nothing to do with whether he tells me the truth or fibs. My love is always there. I explained that he can always tell me the truth … the sky will not fall and the world will not end when he is honest with me.
I explained that it’s his hair. He can choose whether or not to wash it. I will most likely say “Okay” if he chooses not to wash his hair one time and if it continues it will be his choice if he has stinky, dirty hair ….
He was so upset with himself … My heart overflows with love … Sharing the overflow as virtual hugs with all who want or need it … xoxo

“I can’t help it. I was made this way. I was made to be loud.” -Thomas ….
You got that right kid. Whatever this young man’s song is to be; he will sing it LOUD!! Love em up!
November 7 2017:
At dinner Thomas asked, “If you could go back in time and spend time with someone, who would you choose?”
While I was thinking of what to say, he shared his answer. He would go back to when Hitler was a kid and encourage him to attend art school.
I didn’t even know what to say after that. Selfishly, I had been thinking Buddha, Jesus, or Gandhi simply to be amongst their energies.
So incredibly grateful for having Thomas be a part of my life … xoxo
