Throwback Post: Bowling for Team TLC

July 14 2014:

Bowling for Team TLC today! We only go once or twice a year so we’ve got no clue what we’re doing!

This is so nostalgic for me. I used to go once a week with my cousins when I was in high school as my Aunt Carolyn was in a league. We had so much fun goofing off while she bowled!


Bowling this afternoon with Thomas and Lillian. Complete with me falling on my behind cause I went over the foul line, coming home to a big storm and the electricity being out for about 2 hours, and ending with a great walk with both Thomas and Lillian.

A beautiful, grounding walk where we watched clouds and the colors of the sky and threw leaves in the wind to watch them blow. I tucked two happy little people into bed tonight.

Such little things can mean the world. And, in my opinion, ARE the world. Sweet dreams y’all. I’ve had 3 nights of not sleeping well. I’m gonna sleep like a baby tonight! xoxo

Lightsaber Duel With a Slow Close Toilet Lid

The remains of a lightsaber duel between Moff Gideon (played by Thomas) and Ahsoka Tano (played by Camilla). Let it be said that we fought until the bitter end of our Christmas wrapping paper rolls.

Lillian has a bad habit of just letting the toilet lid fall to a close. That’s damn loud when you have a heavy toilet seat. Especially in the middle of the night while asleep.

I’ve tried for 2 years to get her to either leave it open, or to not let it slam. I’m done. Just installed a slow close toilet seat. Fixed it! If I had known it would be that easy, I’d have done it long ago. I’ll be over here patting myself on the back.

Don’t Worry About a Thing – Peace and Pool Noodles

Scene at the hair stylist today. Thanks Roger for cutting Thomas’ hair! He feels much better. Thank you Kathy Montoya Duncan for the bag of goodies! You both bless all three of us!

Pool and BBQ day at the lodge = Team TLC + The Romano Duo + Robert and Samantha 💦💦💦💙💙💙

It was so good to see this one let loose and just play – the one with the green pool noodle. Caused my heart to jump for joy. And good to see Samantha getting to have fun too!!

I needed this day. A day to not worry about things …. money, health and well being of myself and my two kiddos, food, shelter, peace. A day to say, just for today everything is okay. Right now, in this moment, I shall not worry. Thank you for this day. 🙏🏼♥️♥️♥️🙏🏼
