Throwback Post: Multicultural Step-Sister With Italian Food and Fun Snow Angels

**THROWBACK POST**

December 13 2013:

It’s an absolutely wonderful day! There’s good and abundant stuff happening all around us! While I was making dinner last night, Thomas was going to all the neighbor’s yards, making snow angels and leaving snow messages for them! May you see the goodness, kindness, abundance and angels surrounding you today …. and always … xoxo

My beautiful step-sister, Heather, is down from Washington visiting …. Authentic Italian dinner at The Romano Casa …. !!!!

One Lillian bath down, one observation of a private special education school classroom (including being greeted with an ear piercing scream by a young man having a melt down), one brief meeting to collect a donated iPhone (thanks Natalie Gorden – YOU ROCK!!!), one interview and observation of a family with a son with special needs, two grocery store stops, one pizza pick up, ST, OT and PT for Lillian, one Thomas pick up and a partridge in a pear tree . . . now THAT’s an Adventure! Whew!

Throwback Post: Multicultural Night With Sickness and Celebration

**THROWBACK POST**

December 16 2015:

Just got home from multicultural night at HDMS. Thomas’ project was on the Chickasaw Indians. My great, great grandfather was a Chickasaw and Thomas used this picture of him in the project. Thomas also played the part of Atlas in a play about Perseus getting the head of Medusa. Those kids are amazing!!! Loved it!!!

Sweet Thomas was down with a tummy bug on Saturday and Sunday …. What better place is there to be when you don’t feel well, except right there with your legos! He’s better today y’all. He went to school, there was no convincing him to rest for one more day. He LOVES school and his teacher!

Another multicultural project complete for Lillian …. The Hieroglyphic News Journal fresh from the presses! She had fun putting this together!

Throwback Post: Multicultural Bugs on Two Roads With Swings and Snow

**THROWBACK POST**

December 20 2013:

I thought I got away without getting the icky stomach bug Thomas had last weekend. I woke up this morning grateful for a toilet to hug and a warm bed to caress my aching body. Grateful for a son that made his sister’s and his breakfast and has been entertaining both of them while my body gets rid of this bug … This little bug has literally swept me off my feet!
