New Shoes and Moving Out of the Comfort Zone

Oh my gosh! I love my new shoes! 🖤
And y’all. These dating apps are weird and wild. Especially when you’ve been holed up for 8 years, and have been solo for 15 years. 😱 My neurospicy self researched all of them, ranked them according to reviews, and have been trying one a week. 🤣 This is the Camilla Way. 💥 I’m on the third one now.
I have no idea what I’m doing, and don’t expect anything of it (and not sure I want something to come of it). I’m mainly doing it to move out of my comfort zone, to start socializing once again, and to be fully participating in this moment in time. 💋❤️💋 (And just noticed I haven’t cleaned the new polish I put on yesterday. Whatever, candid shot!)
June 13, 2023 Update – Well. I think I’m about done with these crazy dating apps. There are simply way too many fake profiles and nonsense. I don’t think I have the patience for it! I’m going to stick to socializing in person for now.

In unpacking the Christmas decorations, Thomas found a few gift boxes I saved from last year (or the year before even). One box still had the gift inside. Three brand new pairs of undies for Lillian! Oops!!! They may not fit her if they’re from year before last. Note to self: Check them boxes twice before packing them away!

Over the hills and through the woods, Team TLC has made the long ole 5 minute drive to The Romano Casa … smelled so good on the way here with cranberry sauce, green bean casserole and sweet potato fries in the car with us! Yum!

What’s “interesting” is that not even a month after this I won a semester of classes at a local acting/dance/theater agency and Thomas did indeed take some acting classes!!
Stepping Out of the Comfort Zone With Poetry

I stepped out of my comfort zone big time tonight. While Thomas was in their 6:00pm appointment, instead of sitting in the car for an hour, I drove 5 minutes to Shim’s Speakeasy.
This was my first time here, and I loved it. The atmosphere and the people were awesome. Plus!!! They have Guinness 0. Woohoo! I was only able to stay for an hour, but I plan on going next Monday, and I can stay for the full spoken poetry event, getting myself on the stage. 😱Thursday looks like fun with Old Skool Music. Yay me!! 💖💋💖

The Team TLC toast last night …. With a fragrant and fruity 2015 mixed berry sparkling water. And I’m thinking the pumpkin pie I made without sweetened condensed milk was a hit. Between the 3 of us there’s only one big piece left! Topped with homemade whipped cream lightly sweetened with maple syrup. YUM! xoxo

Team TLC did it different for our November month of gratitude … I decided to change it up! We planted our very own Gratitude Garden! We each added to the tree every day. We added so much love to our tree that it became blooming full! I chose to grow our garden freestyle so we didn’t date our fruit and leaves. We just added a word or two of what we are thankful and grateful for, added our name, decorated and then “planted it”! Here is each of ours in no particular order …..
