Kymberlee Simantel … Today I am grateful for YOU and the leap you took 7 years ago. A leap that led to the thriving eWomenNetwork Reno/Carson/Tahoe/Vegas/Sierra Nevadas Chapter chapter that we all enjoy and benefit from today.

That night in July 2007 when I attended my first event, I knew I had arrived home. I’m forever and deeply grateful to you for the space you created, the strength and courage you exhibited, the love shared, the smiles, the DANCING and the WINE!!!

Your essence is forever etched into my heart … LOVE you to pieces lady! (Picture of us at the eWn Conference in July 2008 and this past April 2012)

Today I am thankful for this house Thomas, Lillian and I live in . . . the shelter, the heat, the electricity, the water, the plumbing . . . a place, for now, that we make our home . . . absolutely full of gratitude . . .

You know you’ve been subbing a lot at a school when one of the students asks to take your picture for the yearbook. And, what great timing as I had just come in from an hour of P.E. out in this crazy wind. Wahoo!!

February 1 2012: Puzzles and Cupcakes and Friends

Thomas had a GREAT morning today in class! YAY for him! Earned his sucker and playing with his friends after school.

Puzzle adventures for Lillian this afternoon. She loves putting together puzzles, especially this one with a castle and princess!

This afternoon we went on a Team TCL smog test adventure for our car. To hear Thomas and Lillian you’d think we were doing something very exciting!! Tabs expire tomorrow! Suppose it’s time I get on this!

When we got back Thomas made cakes, cupcakes and ice cream for all of us using Lillian’s Cake Maker Playdoh set!

I had an awesome evening with my eWomenNetwork friends. These events are simply the best! Wonderful time seeing friends, chatting, drinking wine and meeting new people and learning a bit about them. Not to mention, meeting local people face to face that you’ve only chatted with through Facebook! Came home to two kids very happy to have Mom home! Nothing better!
