We just watched the eclipse. Pretty cool!
As I stood on the balcony, taking in the view from our place, I was filled with gratitude for this amazing view, for this lovely place we were blessed to move to in 2019. I love moments like this.
Time stands still,
A cushion of quiet surrounds,
As we are suspended in the present moment.

This morning’s walk was in Scripts Wildlife area, incredibly beautiful and breathtaking. Then I picked apples at my friend Melinda’s place right next to this glorious place, sharing an apple with each critter. They were so happy!! They all wanted their photos taken! Thanks for the apples, Melinda Bourke Blackwell! Thomas wants to come visit when you get back home. ❤️

I hung out with the trees this morning. 💚💚💚 Trees and this view are just the absolute best when I’m feeling out of sync. I left with a sticky finger as one of the trees shared sap with me. 🤣 This is the loop trail next to the Galena Creek Visitor Center, about a 10 minute drive.
