Movie Night: Bohemian Rhapsody

March 15 2019:

Movie night for me tonight – “Bohemian Rhapsody” … I put this on hold months ago ..

I am so moved and pumped I don’t even know what to say. But, holy sh**. Maybe shouldn’t have watched just before bed. I feel like running out the door right now and doing everything I’ve ever imagined I wanted to do. Oh my gosh!! Loved, loved, loved. My heart is still pounding.

I didn’t think I would like it. Honestly, I was not a huge Queen fan. So I sat to watch it being a bit skeptical. Well. Here I am the next morning. I got hardly any sleep because I was so pumped after watching it. I’m a Queen fan now. Powerful. Not only that. A True story. A true powerful.

I rarely have a strong feeling that I want to buy a movie so I can keep it’s message close. I didn’t even want to take this out of the dvd player. After I did, I was thinking, I must buy this movie.

Movie Night: A United Kingdom

February 16 2019:

Team TLC Movie Night – My choice: “A United Kingdom” – The 1940’s true story that changed the history of Botswana.

I say, “What an inspiring true story embodying love, strength, and courage. Moving and powerful.”

Quote from the movie, adjusted a wee bit … “No person is free who is not master of themselves.”

Lillian says, “Good and emotional.”

Thomas sat this one out.

Movie Night: Woodlawn

January 5 2019:

Team TLC movie night: My choice – “Woodlawn”

I say, “I was 3 and 4 years old living in South Jackson, Mississippi when the true story on which this movie was based played out. So this spoke to me. Inspiring is too light of a descriptive. Living from Love and the Divine Heart is one of the keys to miracles and peace.”

“Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that. There is no remedy for hate but to love more.” –Martin Luther King, Jr

Thomas sat this one out.

Lillian says, “It was good and my favorite part was when the lady sang The Star Spangled Banner.”

Movie Night: Pele

July 21 2018:

Team TLC movie night: My choice – PELE – Birth of a Legend

I say, “WOW!! I’m not even a sports enthusiast and I loved this movie! Oh my gosh! I loved it!! My heart is still pumped.

Any movie that portrays a people being their true selves and by doing so bringing joy, oneness, and inspiration to individuals and a people is more than worth the time to watch and absorb. Inspiring is too light of a descriptive.

Be you. Never be ashamed of being you. Shine your light. And. Watch this movie. Perhaps it’s where I’m at in my own journey that I find this so deeply meaningful.”

Thomas says, “I liked it a lot and incredibly tense.”

Lillian says, “Good, action-packed, like some of the music, suspenseful, and a lot of drama.”

Movie Review: The Shift

January 29 2017:

Extra movie night … “The Shift” – Third or fourth time and still as meaningful as the first. The theme of 2017 for me is “The Shift” so it seemed fitting to watch again. This movie is one big, gigantic, meaningful, love bubble … xoxoxo

“Thoroughly unprepared, we take the step into the afternoon of life. Worse still, we take this step with the false presupposition that our truths and our ideals will serve us as hitherto. But we cannot live the afternoon of life according to the program of life’s morning, for what was great in the morning will be little at evening and what in the morning was true, at evening will have become a lie.” ― C.G. Jung

Thomas says, “It makes more sense every time we watch it. It’s good and I like it.”

Lillian says, “It’s amazing and good. I agree with Thomas that it makes more sense each time we watch it.”
