Gorgeous Cool Breeze With a Bat Pose While Nature is Magnificent

September 5 2020

Gorgeous walk yesterday morning.

September 8 2020

It finally cleared enough for a walk. Lillian’s choice: Our old neighborhood, with a refreshing cool breeze. Bonus: We got to see a cormorant in bat pose! Cormorants and pelicans are two of my favorites.

September 9 2020

I am good tired this afternoon. A swim this morning and then a lovely hike to Tamarack Lake with beautiful people. Thank you Fran, Melinda, and Barbara. And to the four legged fur friends you brought along …. Stella, Hank and Boo. Deeply grateful for being invited with you ladies. Nature’s beauty is magnificent.

Lovely Walk of Inspiring Messages and Magical Moon Clouds

June 3 2020

I purposely did not post these yesterday. First time back here in nearly three months for an inspiring walk. I adore what this neighborhood has done, with lovely messages to brighten nearly every step of ones walk.

This walk inspired a couple of writings. Once they are written I must grow the courage to share them, as they are inspired by current events.

I’ve yet to sit and write them as I’ve been ungrounded the past few days. Yesterday was the cherry on top of being reminded that I needed to ground. My sun dress got caught on one of Thomas’s tree limbs in the garage, ripping it. The patio umbrella took flight with a forceful gust of wind, landing on top of the building behind us, where it still sits, lodged in the gutter. Then, once again, the bottom of my dress caught in something underneath the car as I was getting inside. At that point, I laughed harder than I’ve laughed in a while. Okay. Yes, I get it. Come back down to earth. Yes, yes.

Throwback Post: Feel and THEN Release

**THROWBACK POST**

May 31 2012:

“Release Worry … Release Fear … Release Guilt…..
Welcome Happiness and Peace” -Camilla Downs

Team TLC went for a walk yesterday as the sun was setting and I was reminded of this. Thomas and Lillian helped me remember how nature infuses us with what we need if we just stop and get out there. Thomas didn’t want to come home … said he was having so much fun. This young man was appreciating our walk, just a walk outside, so very much …. Served as a nice little reminder to me!

Release Worry Photo and Quote May 2012

**June 14 2020 Update – Adding a note to represent how I feel about releasing feelings and emotions in 2020 as opposed to 2012, eight years later. I believe we must feel the feelings and emotions first, physically feel them, before there’s any chance of releasing them. I know where I was coming from in this post. I had just begun the journey to getting to know myself, and paying attention to my thoughts. I feel this was a natural step in the progression of where I am today. xoxo

Wild Horses with Huge Clouds

February 25 2020

Lovely hour long walk yesterday. Passed by a gorgeous family of wild horses that had been lounging in the construction area mess. It’s such a treat to get to see them. 🙏♥️♥️♥️🙏

The Soothing Medicine of Mother Nature With a Million Questions

February 16 2020:

Quick drive to Washoe Lake. Thank you Mother Nature for the soothing medicine. My entire body and soul relaxed deeply in your loving embrace.

It was a struggle to get Lillian to leave the house. It was a struggle to get her out of the car. I pray nature helped her, at least a little bit. Deeply grateful this beautiful lake is only about a 15 minute drive away. 🙏♥️♥️♥️🙏

February 20 2020:

Lillian left yesterday afternoon to spend a couple of days with The Romano Duo. A much needed break for both of us. Hope you’re having fun, Lillian!! 🎉🎉🎉

Thomas and I are just back from an hour long walk. Incredibly beautiful and peaceful …. Well, except for the million questions from Thomas.

From the moment he could talk he’s asked one question after another after another. He’s still at it. The questions have gotten harder to answer though!

When he was about 4 or 5 years old, my mom asked me how on Earth I answered all of his questions. I told her I just answered the most recent one. He literally used to ask a string of questions all at once! What a heart warming memory to have popped up! 💜💜💜

Much Needed Walk With Beautiful Sky Reflections

February 11 2020

A much needed walk this afternoon. Please continue sending the love, healing energy, and good juju to Lillian (and us) as I try to help her understand something. She’s never been in this space before and we are struggling. Deep gratitude. 🙏♥️♥️♥️🙏

February 14 2020

Wonderful walk around the lake today. Beautiful sky, clouds, and reflections. 💙

February 15 2020:

What a sky this morning?! Thank you Mother Nature … 🙏💙

Sunrise With a Dusting of Snow While Flooded with Rapidly Changing Memories

December 15 2019:

Sunrise yesterday morning.

December 15 2019:

Sunrise this morning with a wee dusting of snow last night.

December 16 2019:

Today’s walk. Don’t think I’ve ever come here alone. It’s either been with Thomas or Lillian, or both of them. My thoughts were flooded with memories of our visits here throughout the years, for the past 13 years.

When I still read to them every night, we would sometimes bring a blanket and our book here to read after dinner. Then we’d throw the frisbee, go for a walk, hit tennis balls, kick the soccer ball, or just read more.

I could clearly see Thomas playing on the equipment and Lillian giggling over something. What a beautiful walk. 💚💚

December 17 2019:

This morning … Breathtaking. 🧡💛

December 20 2019:

This morning. It was changing rapidly. After this the colors transitioned to a blazing orange. 🧡🧡🧡

December 20 2019:

Second sunrise photo from this morning. It was incredible and beautiful with how quickly the colors and clouds changed. 💙💗🧡

Not the Usual Mesmerized With Much Needed Magnificent Love While the Moon Serenades

December 8 2019:

Finally got to go for a walk today! Not the usual lovely scenery, yet, it will work for a quick walk. Bonus! Thomas joined me too. (I don’t like buildings in my nature photos. Hence, the funny angles. Ha!)

December 10 2019:

This afternoon’s walk. It’s been about 5 years since I’ve walked here. Love found me along the way. Needed that. Thank you Mother Nature.

December 10 2019:

Beautiful moon tonight. Gorgeous!!!
