“The thing about trains… it doesn’t matter where they’re going. What matters is deciding to get on.” from The Polar Express

I may not know where this train is going, yet I have decided to get on with a happy and grateful heart believing the destination is going to be perfect! Let the packing begin! Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone for sharing, supporting and for your kind and encouraging words!! xoxo

I’m not kiddin when I say Lillian is obsessed with the weather . . . especially if there’s any kind of weather warning she comes across! Email message received from her this morning . . . “The Storm Before Christmas” with this link . . . https://www.accuweather.com/en/weather-news/the-storm-before-christmas-2/239071

Thank you Janet Storie of Sparkles Jewelry for the touching, melt my heart gift you gave me last night. This picture does not do them justice y’all! A pair of sparkling angels earrings with golden wings. I made it the entire eWomenNetwork Reno/Carson/Tahoe/Vegas/Sierra Nevadas Chapter event without shedding a tear until you shined your kindness and thoughtfulness on me. You are an awesome sweet and beautiful soul Janet!!

Thomas asked me what I wanted for Christmas. I told him & he said “Santa Claus doesn’t have that stuff”!! Well!!!

I asked for a car, a MacBook Air, Coco Chanel Perfume, Angel perfume, make up and a new purse! Being only 4, I sure do understand why he would think Santa doesn’t have this type of silly stuff!! Hahahaha!!

Look Up When You Cannot Find It With a Root Canal

March 28 2023

Yesterday I looked for my vitamin C for about 15 minutes. Just could not find it. I looked everywhere but up!

Found only after I’d opened a new bottle. For some reason I put it up there after taking down a glass. 🫣🤦‍♀️🤪

So I had a root canal this morning. And let me tell you. I like this nitrous oxide gas. We need that stuff attached to the carts in grocery stores, airports, airplanes, and any other anxiety inducing places or appointments! That is the way to go! Basil wonders what took me so long to try it. 🤪

**THROWBACK POST**

December 16 2015:

Just got home from multicultural night at HDMS. Thomas’ project was on the Chickasaw Indians. My great, great grandfather was a Chickasaw and Thomas used this picture of him in the project. Thomas also played the part of Atlas in a play about Perseus getting the head of Medusa. Those kids are amazing!!! Loved it!!!

Sweet Thomas was down with a tummy bug on Saturday and Sunday …. What better place is there to be when you don’t feel well, except right there with your legos! He’s better today y’all. He went to school, there was no convincing him to rest for one more day. He LOVES school and his teacher!

Another multicultural project complete for Lillian …. The Hieroglyphic News Journal fresh from the presses! She had fun putting this together!

Sneezing Fit While it Snows And Snows More

March 4 2023

This morning during a sneezing fit, I choked on my saliva, causing me to try to cough and sneeze at the same time. Which then caused me to swallow air, causing me to try to burp while sneezing and couching. Which caused me to try to laugh hysterically at myself. While sneezing, couching, and burping.

You’re welcome. 🤣🤣🤣

Photos of the scene once it finally stopped snowing last week. It was hip deep in some spots behind our building. ❄️😱❄️

March 8 2023

This was Sunday. And again yesterday. And again today. I think we may be done now. Until next week. ❄️🫣❄️

Throwback Post: Massage With Sickness and Gifts With Dinner

**THROWBACK POST**

December 21 2015:

Thank you Michaela Koenig for the amazing, comforting, nurturing, releasing massage this morning. So, so, so wonderful!! And thank you for being open to trading! For the past 3 months I’ve been doing much work with myself to release deeply buried thought patterns and just some icky stuff. Much of what I had been working on had reached the surface and Michaela’s beautiful healing hands and space helped much of it release. In order to help others, we must let ourselves be helped by others as well! So grateful Michaela!! xoxo

As I was glued to my bed yesterday evening letting my body get rid of that mean ole bug, I overheard Thomas saying, “Making dinner is hard work.” He had to make their breakfast, lunch and warm leftovers for dinner. He came and told me now he knows how much time I put into making breakfast, lunch and dinner. He wanted to wash the dishes too but I talked him into waiting until today. Lillian kept asking how I was doing and suggested I have a hot soak in the tub. So awesomely blessed by these two! Feeling much better today! Whew!!

Throwback Post: Beautiful and Amazing and Love Sweet Love

**THROWBACK POST**

December 20 2015:

Beautiful start to the day with an amazing sunrise. Beautiful end to the day with a young man cleaning and doing laundry from 5:00 til 8:30. He’s been a grumpy bottom for a couple of days and made a choice I didn’t agree with. After I shared my thoughts, he decided to clean. Now we’re gonna sing Christmas songs and have a short dance party. Love, sweet love … xoxo

Throwback Post: Keep on Spreading HappYness

**THROWBACK POST**

December 20 2012:

Spreading HappYness Day #19 & #20

Thomas and I went for a walk last night to look at Christmas decorations in our neighborhood. Felt so good and brought instant happYness.

Tonight I helped clean up Thomas’ classroom after multi-cultural night and Thomas helped serve food.

Keep spreadin it y’all. It’s contagious and hopefully there will never be a vaccine for it … It’s the HappYness Virus!
