**THROWBACK POST**

February 24 2014:

A couple of weeks ago Lillian asked me what my Mom and I had been talking about earlier in the day. I told her that we were talking about how things weren’t going as planned. She said to me,

“You’ve got to just make the best of it.”

Told her she was right on about that and that I’d already been inspired with a new plan … Came to me after Thomas and I went for a walk in the rain. I am so inspired when Lillian mirrors my own advice back to me ……

And, since this happened, things didn’t go as planned once again and I, yet again, was inspired with a new plan! I am certainly learning some valuable life lessons about expectations and patience in the last couple of months! Learning, Growing and Lovin’! Yahooo!

Celebrating World Poetry Day 2017

In honor of World Poetry Day, I’m sharing some of my favorite poems. Beginning with a Renga poem that Team TLC wrote together in September 2015. We wrote the poem in TLC order.

Renga is a genre of Japanese collaborative poetry. Poets work in pairs or small groups, taking turns composing alternating three-line and two-line stanzas. To create a renga, one poet writes the first stanza, which is three lines long. [ 501 more words ]

Waffle and Banana and Blueberry and Honey

Breakfast …. I like a little bit of waffle with my fruit!

So incredibly satisfying! Gluten free waffle loaded with banana and blueberries. Topped with generous amount of local honey and sprinkled with cinnamon and chopped Mississippi pecans. Divine yumminess. xoxo

Movie Review: Finding Dory

March 18 2017:

Team TLC movie night: Lillian’s choice – “Finding Dory” – We put this on hold through the library in December. There were about 90 holds ahead of us. HA!

Lillian says, “Good, awesome, 100% recommended, favorite part was the end and the “keep on swimming” scene and the truck scene, like the outtakes and bloopers at the end, inspirational, emotional, and fantastic!”

I say, “Great and fun feel good movie. What mirrored for me is that lessons taught to us as children are there in our subconscious, even if we don’t remember where that lesson/story/belief came from. Whether it’s good or bad, it sinks in …. Love that Lillian finally got to watch this!”

Thomas says, “It was really good, yet not as good as people were saying. Much better effects than many movies.”

Surprise Rock and Playing with Pinecones

Thomas and I went on a great afternoon walk and found a cool surprise message! Thank you to who ever created this great surprise! We left it for another lucky person to find.

Then we hit pinecones into the water. He asked if we could go for a walk and hit pinecones on our date this Saturday. I would love nothing more Thomas!!

March 13 2017:

Field trip turned into Thomas and Camilla March 2017 Date Day.

First stop was for Thomas to say goodbye to Meg and Buttercup before they leave for their next adventure. Thank you Barbara Richmond Chastain for having us over for one last rendezvous.
