Today was a VERY busy day. Momma and Frank are visiting and so is Thomas and Lillian’s Dad. Full house and busy, busy, busy.
Had a meeting this morning at Sierra Regional Center to finalize respite services. Whew! I can finally get a break here and there! YAY!
Had Lillian’s therapies from 1:45-4:00 and Thomas had acting class from 4:30-5:30.
Thanks to Ted, Momma and Frank and I got to go out to eat together. I hardly ever get to have them all to myself! We had a fantastic Italian dinner at Sardina’s Italian Restaurant. Oh My Goodness . . . it was delicious.
I was so busy all day I completely forgot to take pictures. But, did take some grainy and dark pictures of our food!! Hahahaha!!
Butternut Squash Ravioli with Garlic Butter Sauce. Before this I had a Cream of Garlic Soup! Oh YUM!!!
This was the Tiramisu. Best I’ve ever had!!! And our wine cork! That was yummy too!

Lillian and I had our monthly date day today while Thomas got to spend some time with Momma and Frank! Camilla

I visited Mountain View Montessori school tonight to see if it may be a good fit for Thomas and/or Lillian next year. I LOVED it!! I think it’s a perfect fit for Thomas. Not so sure about Lillian. Now I just need to figure out how to pay for it as it’s a private school!

Thomas had another rough morning in kindergarten class. No green card today. Seems he’s having trouble controlling speaking at the same time as Mrs. O’Connor and wanting to talk with her while she’s teaching. Poor dude!
Lillian loves being tickled. I love hearing her laugh!
Went for a walk and got to see the sunset. Beautiful!
Later, I got to go hang out with some dear friends for a little ME time! Much needed! Thanks Kymberlee and Wade!
Today was all about making Valentine’s cards and putting puzzles together!
And, we had a visit from Batman! I’m such a lucky girl!
Lillian falls often with her balance and depth perception issues, especially with socks on and these tile floors. She had a pretty hard fall tonight and said “I wish I wasn’t an 18p- girl.” Now that one felt like a punch in the gut with some wrenching of the heart to go with it. I LOVE that girl! All is okay with Lillian now and she went to bed smiling and happy! I was the one that this lingered with for a while! I wrote about it here.
Thomas had a GREAT morning today in class! YAY for him! Earned his sucker and playing with his friends after school.
Puzzle adventures for Lillian this afternoon. She loves putting together puzzles, especially this one with a castle and princess!
This afternoon we went on a Team TCL smog test adventure for our car. To hear Thomas and Lillian you’d think we were doing something very exciting!! Tabs expire tomorrow! Suppose it’s time I get on this!
When we got back Thomas made cakes, cupcakes and ice cream for all of us using Lillian’s Cake Maker Playdoh set!
I had an awesome evening with my eWomenNetwork friends. These events are simply the best! Wonderful time seeing friends, chatting, drinking wine and meeting new people and learning a bit about them. Not to mention, meeting local people face to face that you’ve only chatted with through Facebook! Came home to two kids very happy to have Mom home! Nothing better!
