We had a wee celebration Wednesday night in honor of Lillian conquering her fear of open spaces/stairs. Each of us chose a piece of candy, toasted our candies, and said a few words in honor of the occasion.
The temporary place has cathedral ceilings and those have always been an issue for Lillian. Especially when paired with stairs. Another fear bites the dust!!

Done with my contributions! First time making green bean casserole from scratch. So incredibly delicious.

After missing two weeks of library volunteering, we were back at it this afternoon. Love the lil critter decorations! Quick visit to the library garden before heading home.
November 26 2019:
Yesterday was the Lillian and Camilla November 2019 Date Day
First stop: Shopping for a new sofa. Our sofa and love seat were falling apart so got rid of them when moving last Monday. Found one!
Second stop: Fries and snickerdoodle cookie for Lillian. Brussel sprouts with toasted almonds and tamari for me.
Last stops: Window shopping.

Respite this time around has been spent making a huge mess, while finishing the packing. “I will have everything ready to go by Monday, I will.” …. Saying to self over and over. Box of tissue right in the middle of it all = dust is not a friend to the nose.

Just sent the manuscript back to the book designer. A few more minor corrections. Fingers crossed that’s it! This is a ton of work ….. And …. So worth it!
November 9 2019:
The Kindle version is finished! The back cover is finished! Whew!! Should be getting the initial print version to review electronically in 3 or 4 days. My shoulders are loosening just writing this post! Hallelujah!! Including a sneak peek at one of the last pages of the book …. Thanks to everyone for the support, love, and encouragement!

Just emailed the proofed manuscript back to the book designer. A few grammar errors, along with a few apostrophes removed or added, with a dash or two removed or added. Now, circling back around to the back cover; which I think is in its final state so that the cover can be loaded to Amazon. I like to include a page at the end of our books with information about The Chromosome 18 Registry & Research Society. Nearly there!!

Back cover is finished! Just need to decide on which photo of me to use. Would you mind helping? I’ve not had professional photos taken since 2012, so will be using what I’ve got!
