Next, a trip to the library to search for books and documentaries about trees, per Lillian’s request.
Then, for some studying of trees in the library garden. And taking a few FUN and creative photos through the magnifying glass! Part 2

Lillian and Camilla January 2017 Date Day, yesterday, Part 2:
Wasn’t in a position to go out for a dessert this time ….. so improvising to the rescue! Used what we had and made a special Date Day dessert ….
Trader Joe’s peppermint Joe Joes dipped in melted dark chocolate, topped with gluten free jelly beans. Adding the last step of a few minutes in the fridge to harden the chocolate.
Next, meeting and discussing which book to create for Lillian’s first published book! Here’s to us, here’s to love, and here’s to 15 years of Date days!!
November 16 2016:
Lillian and Camilla November 2016 Date Day – First ….. Dessert! Pink lemonade bar for her and chocolate covered almonds and pretzels for me.
Then home for lunch. Next, a walk at Virginia Foothills park. It snowed on us!!!! Fun!!
Finishing with window shopping and goofing off at Learning Express!

October 19 2016:
On our walk yesterday Lillian paused to reply to this, “If you were a camera, describe what type of pictures you’d take.”
Again, I ran out of space and recording stopped before she finished. You’d think I take lots of photos!!
The rest, “Animals, food, books, and movie titles on our movie night.”
August 26 2016:
Lillian and Camilla August 2016 half-date … Went to pick up dessert, then to get her a new pair of sunglasses since hers broke last week. Then we enjoyed our dessert in the moonlight at the lodge.
And ended our date with a starlit walk by the lake. Too dark for pictures. Lillian wanted to visit one of our regular parks for a date day walk but it got dark before we were ready. So, we will do that next week.
Here’s to going on 15 years of date days, once a month, with this beautiful one!
