Lillian and Camilla February 2022 Date Day
First, using a gift card, looking at all the sparkly things along the way.
Then fries and dessert. Ending with a stop at the library.

Date day with Lillian! First stop … Swimming … And spreading love!! I made the big one. The other two made themselves! xoxo
Next stop …. Lunch! Salmon and garlic fries. Then a quick walk around! Cool!
Second stops were a couple of thrift stores to window shop. However, we did get a few items. So fun!! Then, home for some homemade dessert. Chocolate chip almond cookies! YUM!! August 11 2016:
Lillian and Camilla July 2016 Date Day …. July’s date day was delayed due to our travels to and from the 2016 Chromosome 18 Conference. So we did something different for this date day.
After dinner Lillian and I headed to Whole Foods to pick out a cookie from the “Cookie Bar” … cheapest dessert ever …. and made with real food ingredients!
Next up we took our cookies to Audrey Harris Park so we could eat with a lovely view. When we got there, we saw the park was closed due to an event down below at the Bartley Ranch stage. We decided to go for a walk around Bartley Ranch and have our dessert later.
We enjoyed a wonderful time looking at the old equipment and buildings, trees, sky, and sunset. After our walk we enjoyed a slow, quiet, and peaceful drive the long way back to our end of town. I just love this drive of taking in all the farms and older houses and simply how peaceful it seems.
Next up was to head to Geiger Way Lookout to enjoy those cookies with a view. It was dark by the time we arrived so the pictures are fuzzy, yet they capture some of the beautiful essence. So incredibly wonderful.
And, last we enjoyed another slow and peaceful drive back home. I’d rank this one up there with one of our most beautiful date days. Simple and wonderful. xoxo

Thomas Darnell and Camilla February Date Day
First stop: Vegan sushi heaven. Over 30 different sushi rolls to choose from, with 3 or 4 vegan appetizers. Sushi menu included for those who are local. Thomas had all you can eat. I ordered individual items as I just can’t eat enough for all you can eat. We will definitely be going back many times. 🥰😋🥰
Second stop: A walk around Geiger Way Lookout. Gorgeous with many warm memories. 👏🥰👏 I asked Thomas to take a photo, and he makes me look like a giant.

Thomas and Camilla January 2022 Date Day, er, as Thomas wants me to call it: Father and son bonding time. 😂🤣😂
Part 1: Lunch at House of Mexica. I think this may be the only all vegan menu restaurant in Reno. Everything on the menu is vegan. We ate outside with this lovely view.
Cheese God Chimichanga for Thomas. Asada tacos for me. Buffalo fries for both of us. The asada tacos and Buffalo fries are my favorite menu items so far.
Part 2: Cat toy shopping for Basil.
Part 3: A lovely walk to end the date.

Lunch at Great Full Gardens South Meadows Reno.
Courageous Cappuccino, and veggie burrito with cashew cheese for me. Red Velvet Latte, and soup sampler for Thomas. Heirloom Caprese with house made cashew cheese for both of us.
We are ready for Spider-man now!!

A dark chocolate dipped pretzel for Lillian, then a walk on one of our favorite paths, ending with French fries from a favorite restaurant. Love jumped from the rocks to come home with us.

Veggie sushi at Pisces Sushi
Miso soup for me with a Franklin roll. Thomas had Edamame with a Franklin, Kappa Maki, and Green Machine roll.
Followed by a great walk at Wilbur May Arboretum, and lots of reminiscing.

Lillian and Camilla October 2021 Date Day
A drive to pick out a dessert cookie for Lillian.
Followed by a walk at one of our favorite spots. We got to see a fire rainbow, enjoy a beautiful, serene walk, ending with walking through the crunchy leaves.
Then a stop to pick up Noble Pie Parlor fries for Lillian.
