Writing about Love and this came on …. All we need is love …
“Love is my religion,
Love is my religion,
Love is my religion
I’ll take you to the temple tonight
All my days I’ve been searching,
To find out what this life is worth
Through the books and bibles of time
I’ve made up my mind
I don’t condemn, I don’t convert,
This is a calling have you heard
Bring all the lovers to the fold,
‘Cause no one is gonna lose their soul
Love is my religion,
Love is my religion,
Love is my religion
Hey you can take it or leave it,
And you don’t have to believe it
I don’t want to fight,
Hey let’s go fly a kite
There’s nothing that we can’t cure,
And I’ll keep you in my arms for sure
So don’t let nobody stop us,
Free spirits have to soar
With you I share the gift,
The gift that we now know oh oh oh
Love is my religion,
Love is my religion,
Love…” -Ziggy Marley

Last night’s reading …. Cookbooks!!
The place we’re house sitting (The Romano Duo’s house) has some awesome cookbooks. One cookbook was created by the American Women’s Club of Lagos, Nigeria …. titled “Up The Creek Without A Paddle”.
It contains an entire section titled “Living in Lagos (Tips for Newcomers)”. So awesome that Mammaw Mann contributed to this book! ♡

Such an amazing and soul pleasing lunch!! Roasted eggplant garlic soup and raw vegan coconut mango cheesecake from Great Full Gardens South Meadows Reno. Romaine, cucumber, carrot, and onion salad topped with kalamata olives, cashews, pumpkin seeds and green garlic dressing with a side of dried okra; provided by me! Left me in, “That was da** good food heaven!”
June 8 2018:
Oh my gosh! Why had I not seen or tried this before? I sautéed mushrooms and sweet onions with a pat of this a few nights ago. And just now melted and drizzled it over fresh popped heirloom popcorn. Good grief! So yum!!! They have nailed it. Love the ingredient list too!
June 9 2018:
Sweet strawberry love. I’m nearly finished eating this 2 pounds of strawberries all by myself. And look at the gift waiting in the middle for me!!! I love you too Strawberry!!!
Loose Tooth and Cheers
**THROWBACK POST**
April 26 2012:
You see it? That tooth right there? Been loose for about NINE months. We’ve been wiggling it for 10-20 minutes every day for the past 3 weeks to get that sucker out! We had an appointment this past Monday to get it pulled; which I cancelled cause it was SOOOO close! It is OUT and Team TLC will be celebrating! Think this calls for a dance party!

” …. their really saying, I Love YOU ….. ” courtesy of Thomas who was singing this song tonight … “What a wonderful World”https://youtu.be/m5TwT69i1lU {We listened to a few different versions after he was singing it and his favorite is Louis Armstrong!) It truly is a WONDERFUL world ….
Lillian and Thomas Talk on the Phone
**THROWBACK POST**
April 26 2010:
Listening to Lillian talk to Thomas on the phone! What a hoot!
He keeps asking her questions & doesn’t understand her answers. He can’t read yet so she can’t send a text message!
I hear him saying the same things I say to her, “Just say yes or no”!! If he were here he would be telling her “Go get your phone/device and tell me”! This would be sad if I didn’t choose to have a sense of humor about it!!
Moonlight Swim and Smoking Keyboard and Silly and Gazpacho
May 28 2018
First moonlight swim of the season. Thomas and I had the pool to ourselves. Ahhhhh … I’m so relaxed now.
May 30 2018:
My fingers and keyboard are smoking. Just got done writing something that came forth during the Alchemist Theatre presents “Resistance” event tonight. I love being in the “zone” like that. Except I forget to breathe sometimes! Oops! Thank you Alchemist Theatre peeps!! Love you much and now I’m off to bed! I could not go to bed with all that floating in my heart! xoxo
May 31 2018:
I may be mistaken. Yet, I don’t think it’s likely the water in the kettle will heat this way. Attempt #2 forthcoming …. 😂😜
I posted this on facebook and many friends commented they had done this and worse … So, I have created a group for us: Absent Minded Stove Users United …. Hahaha!!
June 3 2018:
Not quite as yummilicious as freshly made. Yet, still, oh so yummy!! Love, love, love gazpacho!!! I could have this for lunch every day!!

**THROWBACK POST**
April 26 2009:
Took Thomas & Lillian to the Kid’s Fair on Saturday! They had so much fun!
Thomas & Lillian at Idlewild Park.
Thomas not so sure about the dude who keeps trying to get him to do a somersault.
He wanted to pick the balls up and throw them!
Most exciting part ~ diggin in the sand!
