It was a double feature for me last night. “Yesterday” – I put this on hold at the library months ago. My turn arrived, and it was watch it, or wait months again.
This was just a lovely and enjoyable movie.

Anytime is a good time to toast with sparkling mineral water. Especially when you’ve finally, finally, finally been given the key to your new place. And when, after nearly 4 years, Anthem Blue Cross finally decided to refund the $50 that was overcharged, that you spent hours and hours and hours on the phone to get them to refund ….. nearly 4 years ago!

Look what was delivered yesterday. I’m in couch heaven. Thank you to The Romano Duo!! So excited for movie night tonight!

It is done. The Meeting the Authors website is back up … after 4 days of phone calls and frustration. You know, if you call a place every day and get a different person every time, you finally hit the jackpot of someone who takes the time to help you (well almost) … as I had to figure out the last step on my own, and it worked completely by accident.
I’ve just had a lovely piece of apple cranberry pie, topped with vanilla bean ice cream. Now I shall take the rest of the night off after I give Lillian a Reiki session.

All kitchen boxes have been unpacked. Treated myself to a lovely, generous salad.

Sunrise this morning and cool clouds this afternoon. Magical sky … 💙
I’ve been busy all day moving small items to the new place. Movers come tomorrow for the boxes and big/heavy items. This is the last night in the temporary place. We get to unpack this weekend, with the new couch being delivered on Friday! Thanks to the Romano Duo for the new couch! 💜💜💜

Beautiful sunrise this morning. We moved pretty much all day yesterday. Extremely tired, my body aches like mad, and I’m relieved and happy to finally be here. About a full year from that first phone call I received asking me if I was still interested in living here. What a wild ride.

And the moon tonight … Looks full in this photo … interesting …. magical. Especially with how the wind is howling.

Made some 5 minute instant rice to go w/ dinner & Thomas said, “I like this, You’re a Great Cooker & I Love You”. Just had to share ~ this little man surprises me every day with his funny & beautiful comments!

(Photo from our June 2009 Date Day – He preferred the stairs to the escalator. We used to have date days at the airport. He loved roaming around, eating lunch, and looking at the airplanes. We stopped doing it once they remodeled and closed off many areas.)

Oh my goodness! Thank you Romano Duo!!
Homemade gift I made for Lillian. This was great fun! Using a book that was destined for the trash, I randomly opened the book and scanned for phrases to make into a poem. Challenging! 💙💙💙
Beautiful gifts from Thomas and Lillian. 💚♥️💚♥️💚♥️

I am incredibly blessed.
A good time was had by all. Team TLC + The Romano Duo + Robert
These two stoke the embers of my heart, giving me strength when I wish to be weak. There is no greater gift.
My eyes nearly began sweating when I opened this gift. A magical bird made from recycled material. Beautiful!!
Christmas Eve dinner was a big scoop of the homemade green bean casserole I had just made. Followed by a piece of apple cranberry pie. Christmas dinner was nearly the same, adding a big scoop of my mom’s potato salad. Yum!!! 💚💚💚♥️♥️♥️
Christmas gift from my brother. My eyes got sweaty over this one. And, y’all, I have absolutely no recollection of this, nor of even being this person. I’m smiling though. Always smiling. 😁♥️
Homemade gift I made for Mom and Frank. This was great fun! Using a book that was destined for the trash, I randomly opened the book and scanned for phrases to make into a poem. Challenging! 💙💙💙 🧡🧡🧡 For Robert’s gift I created a larger than life heart flower. 💚💚💚

Lillian thinks I made a masterpiece with the candy canes. Ha!! The vases are packed so I grabbed the French press container and added the candy canes. The inside of the French press fell apart, and I was wondering what I would do with the glass. Improvise!! ♥️💚

Thomas and Camilla December 2019 Date Day
A lovely walk to Burger Me where Thomas had a Train Wreck burger with onion rings and I had a veggie burger. Then, more walking.
I’ve been preoccupied with getting the Meeting the Authors website back up, so our date day was cut short. Hours on the phone and much frustration. It will happen eventually. Everything is backed up. Just need to get it back on the site. Thanks to those who have contributed towards the recovery fund!

Team TLC Movie Night (last night) – Lillian’s choice: “Nausicaa – of the valley of the wind –
Lillian says, “Good, favorite part was the end, and favorite character is Princess Nausicaa.”
I say, “An amazing story of courage and compassion when facing fear. Along with the voice of Patrick Stewart and Mark Hamill! Which I didn’t even know about, until I heard Stewart’s character speak. I’d know that voice anywhere! Ha! Enjoyed it!”
