We just watched the eclipse. Pretty cool!

As I stood on the balcony, taking in the view from our place, I was filled with gratitude for this amazing view, for this lovely place we were blessed to move to in 2019. I love moments like this.

Time stands still,
A cushion of quiet surrounds,
As we are suspended in the present moment.

What’s a lady to do when she’s been given respite for the afternoon and evening? I find myself sitting here thinking, “Ok, now what?” Hahaha! I wrote a post about this about a year or so ago, I think I’ll go back and read it and take some of my own advice! I’ve got tonight covered! Got me a date with a classic 1934 Frank Capra production with a side of hot buttered popcorn! Perhaps a soak in a nice hot tub after that!! Here’s to taking a Mama break! xoxo

WATER …. That’s what I’m grateful for today. Such a simple thing that serves so many purposes. Hydration, thirst quencher, keeps us and our hands clean, heavenly bubble baths or showers or hot tub soaks, cleans our dishes, our clothes, our cars, feeds our grass and trees and plants, we use it to cook, to make tea and coffee, we use it to brush our teeth, put out fires, it supports life in our oceans, lakes and rivers and on and on and on ….
