Both Team Member T & L are settled in their classrooms … Both excited and nervous!! 1st grade for Thomas and 4th grade for Lillian …. New school, New Adventures for the whole team!! Wooooooohooooooo!!

Breathtaking beauty as the day headed into the night … Laid down flat on my back on the patio to take 4 of these. Those stones were kinda hot! Totally worth it for the view I got. Spotted a fairy angel as I was lying there …. took a picture before she disappeared!

Finished!!!! 3,504 words. Plus, I’m off to sub for the creative writing class this afternoon. Guess what they get to do? They get to read and critique the article AND help me with a title! Wahooo!!

Team TLC movie night … Thomas’ choice: “Call of the Wild” – Thomas says, “Amazing, terrific, good, good acting, suspense, good music, and good ending.”
Lillian says, “Good, amazing, suspenseful, romantic and interesting.”
I say, “An adventure, for sure. I’ve not read the book, but from the reviews of this movie and the book; this doesn’t follow the book at all. Except for taking place in the Yukon and a sled dog of wolf ancestry named Buck. Was still a good movie, though.”

Hanging out at the library before Parent Information night at HDMS … loaded with chapter books for Thomas and Lillian. These two go through some books!
Light dinner before Parent Information Night at HDMS … YUM! French fries for Lillian, Pepperoni Pizza for Thomas and Salad for me …. Happy Team!
December 7 2021: A note of reflection as I read what I wrote with these two posts. I did not have the gas money to drive all the way home after school, and then back to the school for Parent Information Night.
I also didn’t have enough money for a full dinner for us. However, I did have a coupon for a free personal size pizza. I ordered the cheapest thing on the menu for me (salad), and Lillian was and is always happy with fries.
Thomas and Lillian did not know this is why we had this type of evening, as I tried my best to always make things seem like an adventure.
