The hour long walk today was a workout!! Wind blowing so hard I couldn’t walk straight. Nature took the opportunity to remind me to love myself through the fun AND turbulent times …. and that love is always with us! One was even wrapped in a bow! Beautiful!!! 💙💙💙💨💨💨

Wonderful walk today with a gorgeous sky and clouds. It is truly miraculous when one lets go of an issue that the mind is determined to control and figure out.

The moment it is let go of from the mind, the solutions, opportunities, and signs flow. Almost so fast and so many, one can hardly keep up. 🙏💙

Thank you to The Romano Duo for these cute “Team” TLC ornaments!! Most of our ornaments are homemade, or are from about 15 years ago, or hand me downs. Which is the way I prefer it. Yet, I’m blessed by these new ornaments. They have beautiful meaning. ⛄️ 💚❤️

For Thomas and Lillian’s advent calendars this year, I printed quotes from each of their books and quotes from those they admire. I ended up with one extra and found the perfect spot for it to perch. 🎄💚

November 29 2018:

I give you the new Team TLC tree! For the past three years we’ve had a wee 2 foot table top tree; which has been perfect for this wee 800 square foot place.

The Romano Duo came across this pencil tree and couldn’t resist getting it for us. Perfect size to fit snug in a wee space. It’s skinnier than it looks in this photo. Deep gratitude! 🙏

Oh, and a few have asked, just who are The Romano Duo?? My mom, Patty Romano, and step-dad, Frank Romano! I love giving “team” names to families. I coined The Romano Duo about 8 years ago and it just stuck. 😜🧡😜

All of these are mostly handmade, hand me downs, or ornaments I’ve had for nearly 20 years. This is the 1st time in 4 years we’ve been able to get them all on the tree. I usually hang them around the house with some hanging in the window.

Thomas says, “I liked it a lot and I think people should see it.”

Quote from the movie, “The bell still rings for all who believe.” I say, “Magical movie with a deeper meaning than appears …. for me, anyway.”

Lillian says, “Good, great Christmas movie, inspirational, like the songs and music, favorite character is Holly, the kind leader, and liked the northern lights.”

Across a Dark and Wild Sea

Interesting book about Columcille who was born in a remote corner of Ireland in the year 521. He grew up to become a monk and a scribe. This was a thousand years before the invention of printing and books had to be copied by hand.

We really enjoy Don Brown’s books and illustrations. This one too!

Lillian and Camilla November 2018 Date Day …. First stop – Fries and a huge shortbread cookie for Lillian. Vegan cupcake for me. 🧡

Second stop: Window shopping to see how many sparkly beauties we could find.

Last stop: A Beautiful sunset walk where Lillian reminded me how years ago I used to make hearts and write messages in the sand. Thanks for the reminder Lillian!
