The Faithful Gardener
“New seed is faithful. It roots deepest in the places that are most empty.”- C.P. Estes
Just a beautiful book and story. Loved it.

Team TLC Movie Night: My Choice – “The Great Rupert” aka “A Christmas Wish” …. The Great Rupert is a 1950 black & white with Jimmy Durante … Colorized in 2003 and renamed to A Christmas Wish
I say, “A squirrel as a guardian angel that answers prayers! Yep! Heartwarming Christmas miracle!!
I usually prefer black & white movies over the colorized version. However, this black and white is poor quality with many scratches and skips (unless you get your hand on the digitally remastered black & white).

On the walk today. Oh sky. I love it when you wear the creamy, layered clouds. Deeply dramatic. ☁️

The most amazing sky this afternoon. Wish I had been on a walk and gotten a better view. 💙

Team TLC extra movie night – “It’s A Wonderful Life” – A tradition for us to watch every Thanksgiving night. We’re one day late this time around!
I say, “I adore this movie. Heartwarming and a beautiful reminder for anyone who needs reminding that life is wonderful.” Quote from the movie, “No man is a failure who has friends.” – Clarence, the Angel
Thomas says, “I liked it, like every year.”

Thankful for this. Two of my greatest teachers in this life. Helping open my eyes, mind, and heart to true knowing. Busting me loose from the confines of judgments and conformity and helping me learn about unconditional love!! Hallelujah!!! 🧡🧡🧡
Got treated with a virgin Bloody Mary and vegan turkey loaf, just for me. Cranberry sauce (made by Thomas), green bean casserole, and sweet potato to go with it. Got to lounge and begin reading this great book a friend bought for me last September. 🍁🧡🍁🧡🍁🧡
Team TLC + The Romano Duo + Robert …. and turkey just the way I like it! Cute, wee stuffed animal turkey!! 🧡🍁🧡🍁🧡
Team TLC + The Romano Duo + my brother Robert. We used to watch this every year with Mom and Frank before they moved 3 years ago. We switched to watching “It’s a Wonderful Life”; which we’ll watch tomorrow.🧡🍁🧡🍁🧡🍁
Just had to give these cuties their own post! Especially with The Romano Duos cozy abode as backdrop! I enjoyed just sitting in this spot, reading, resting my eyes (hehehe), and enjoying a Frank special virgin Bloody Mary.

The wonderful person who made this Psychedelic Dachshund quilt is head over heals for Lillian’s Rainbow of Emotions.
She is itching to quilt a Psychedelic Rainbow of Emotions, about 3X3 in size. Anyone interested in brightening one of your walls with a Psychedelic Rainbow of Emotions? xoxo

It was a great day for “Where Would You Fly” to fly to Montana! Be wild and free!!! 🧚🏼♂️🧚🏼♂️🧚🏼♂️

How on Earth did I cause the smoke alarm to go off while Thomas helped make the cranberry sauce?
You take one part Lillian wanting me to help her decide what to wear.
One part helping Thomas gather items and follow the directions.
One part me adding Orecchiette pasta to boiling water while the bag opening is unknowingly facing the opposite direction. Pasta spreads across the counter and stove top and onto the hot burner. The two landing in the burner burst into flames.
Then we have a smoke alarm going off which leads to Lillian going off because the alarm is going off. Lillian has a new rule now. Smoke alarms MUST be turned off before cooking!! 😂😜
Wheeee … Cranberry sauce finished and delicious!!! 💞💞💞

Team TLC Movie Night: Lillian’s choice – “The Sound of Music” – A tradition every November/December.
Lillian says, “Good, favorite character is Maria and Liesl, musical, favorite song is the opening song of The Hills are Alive With the Sound of Music, and suspenseful if you haven’t seen it yet.”
I say, “Inspiring!! The Hills Are Alive and the opening scene gives me good yummy feel good goose bumps. Nature is indeed alive!”

Cold and beautiful sunset walk today. Time just keeps on a moving and brings her sidekick, changes. Change. The one thing we’re guaranteed to experience.
The beautiful thing about change is that we can change the way we experience change by loving ourself through it. I so Love this Earth dearly!💙🌏💚
