Peaceful Summer by Lillian Darnell – Fundraising

Peaceful Summer by Lillian Darnell …. There’s still time to participate in Lillian’s fundraiser and get a custom poem created especially for you .. This one was created for a lovely supporter in Tasmania.

Here’s the beautiful comment from Patricia once she received her custom poem …

Dear Camilla and Lillian

Thank you! The poem is everything I hoped for and more, and paints a brilliant word-picture. I look forward v. much to seeing the image, and know it, too, will be special.

As we approach Winter Solstice here in the Southern Hemisphere, it’s particularly lovely to be reminded of the pleasures and promise of summer.

Peace.
Patricia

May 29 2019:

First round of senior/graduation photos for Lillian. She’s wants photos at a different location too! Ha!

This was the perfect spot for the first set. The little garden behind the library. We’ve been coming here ever since she was 5 years old.

I’ve taken tons of photos of the three of us in this little garden throughout the past 12 years. 🙏🎉💗💗💗🎉🙏

Look what came in the mail today!! 😳😃 Shhhhh … Don’t tell Lillian. Although, she’ll probably see this post! June 1st is fast approaching! Take that you blankety blank blank geneticist! You don’t have to be highly intelligent and a math whiz to be successful in life and contribute to society!! And you don’t have to do it the way it’s “supposed” to be done.🖕🏻

When I Know It Is Time for a Lillian Break

April 24 2019:

Reasons I KNOW it’s time for a Lillian break:

I’ve been can’t-move-my-body exhausted (with a side order of pounding headache) every night this week.
I turned the heat on last night instead of the air conditioner … it was a balmy 75 degrees almost all night! 🤪😂 Realized what I had done not too long before getting up.
One of the 3 times Lillian woke me up, she asked for throat spray (homemade with cold spring water and peppermint essential oil) …. She got one good spray directly up her nose! Oops!!! Sorry Lillian …
I had a peanut butter & jelly sandwich for dinner tonight.

The Romano Duo picked up Lillian this afternoon after our library volunteering. She’s off to spend 3 nights with them; rejoining Thomas and I on Saturday. Just in time for movie night! Hallelujah … It’s break-from-Lillian time! Love you to infinity Lillian! And, grateful for our breaks!! (Photo from May 2018)

The Flying Unicorns Create A Rainbow by Lillian Darnell

THE FLYING UNICORNS CREATE A RAINBOW

The unicorns weren’t always flying. One day one of the unicorns found a flying powder and they started flying! Shortly after they found a rainbow can in the sky. They painted rainbows in the sky.

But one day they couldn’t fly in the sky. Suddenly they found a clue and they were off to find their powers.

The people began wondering what happened to the unicorns. The delivery person had come out of nowhere and said that the unicorns lost their powers.

Some of the people began murmuring, “Terrible.” They decided to help them. When they got there, the unicorns explained everything.

They finally found the final clue along with their powers; as well as who put them there.

The unicorns discovered that it was the small creatures. After that, they showed no one their powers. They kept secret all the time.
