August 6 2017:

Sunset/Moonlit walk with Lillian. Bathing in the light of this amazing moon. We found a cozy spot perfect for moon bathing. So much gratitude! xoxoxoxo

August 8 2017:

Moonlit walk with Thomas last night. Fed the ducks and ducklings and then bathed in the light of the moon. Bring it Mama Gaia …. 🌎🌙

August 10 2017:

Sunset walk with Thomas. Gosh! Conversations with him simply blow my mind. A long walk and then a long sit on the lodge patio.

We talked about his thoughts on Disney movies, people who are paid to create viral videos, thoughts on why and what people find amusing in some of these videos, Sam Walton, Wal-Mart employee pay vs amount of money the company brings in weekly, obsessive compulsive tendencies, autism, cigarettes, cigars, pipes, electronic cigarettes, adult beverages, and I’m sure more that I’m leaving out. And this was only about an hour and a half!

He found a treasure during our walk and explained it to me. He also spotted an amazing heart for me to photograph. And, apparently a kiss from me is explosive! Wahooo!!! I choose happy …. xoxo

August 11 2017:

Sunset walk for all of Team TLC. Beautiful with a light breeze and fun conversation. Left a treasure for someone to discover and claim. I’ve had the “acceptance” rock for many years and it was time to pass it on.

Thomas and Lillian had fun with her braids in one of the pictures. We laughed a lot during this walk. And that felt good. I choose happy.

Book Review: The Untethered Soul

Removing inner thorns and freedom, freedom, freedom ..

I read this book for the first time in March of this year. I’m now on about my 4th reading of it.

What I found interesting is that the first time I read it, I took in a few great techniques and ideas and I thought that was it. Yet, I read MIchael Singer’s second book, The Surrender Experiment, next. That book blew me away. Incredibly powerful.

Then I came back and read this one again. Unbelievable! It was like I had never read it. The words and thoughts in it were much more powerful this second time around.

This is the perfect book for anyone who has decided to remove inner thorns, pain from the past, pain from childhood, remove blocks, stop the heart closing, and to stop repeating patterns over and over and over …. anyone who is ready to walk into their own darkness and shadows, feel the pain and finally let it go, and to truly and unconditionally love oneself … love all of oneself … the light and the darkness. xoxoxo

Such a beautiful and heart full time visiting with you, Barbara Richmond Chastain, and Bill this afternoon. Washoe Valley is incredibly gorgeous! We are so happy for you two for this amazing adventure you’re traveling!! Thomas and I sure enjoyed chatting with you both. xoxoxoxo

Thomas and Camilla August 2017 Date Day – Swimming and playing in the amazing, soothing, wonderful, and refreshing Lake Tahoe. We love you Mama Lake.

I’m so glad I was in this amazing spot when I received certain news this afternoon. What a blessing to have this magical and healing lake to absorb and wash energies away. Incredibly grateful and blessed.

Help Team TLC With Attending the 2017 Chromosome 18 Family Conference

We need your help! Last minute fund raising for Team TLC’s attendance at the 2017 Chromosome 18 Family Conference in Naperville, Illinois from July 12th – July 15th.

Fortunately, we have a sponsor who has loaned us money for our airfare, registration, and hotel stay. And we have a wee bit from Thomas and Lillian fundraising since last year’s conference.

We just need to make sure we have enough for incidentals while there … food, transportation to and from the airport, and the special events lined up for siblings and self advocates.

June 21 2017:

Lillian and Camilla June 2017 Date Day: First stop – dessert. Vanilla cake bar for Lillian, cherry pie for me, plus bonus!!!! The store was celebrating its 9th birthday and we got cake too!!!

Second stop was at the post office so Lillian could mail the first sale of her custom hand made notebooks!

Last stop – Home furnishings store to look at all the stuff I’m so glad we don’t own. And to take fun pictures!

It’s the 18th of the month. Chromosome #18 brought into our life family we never knew we had and has blessed us beyond the words to even describe. To a beautiful soul ….

Ever There

She loved.
She shined.
She let go.

Ever there with kind words,
with encouraging words,
with loving suggestions,
and, oh yes, hugs and happy dancing.

A smile that beamed brightly.
Greeting with open arms all who
were new to this different path.

The originator
of the “Different is Good” slogan.
She checked in on one
just when one thought she
was all alone.

She lived life
to the fullest,
coming to embrace this
different path.

Deeply she loved
her family.
Openly and freely
sharing her own
ups and downs.

Dear friends
and family the world over, has she,
who are deeply saddened for her
early departure.

She wanted to help all.
She wanted to cheer us all on.
She wanted to hug us all.
