Cold Sunset Walk With a Bunny and Horses

March 28 2019:

Thomas and I went for a sunset walk after dinner. Wow! That was cold! I see a bunny in the sky!

Lillian left this afternoon for a 3 day weekend with The Romano Duo. Yay!!! I am deeply tired and looking forward to 3 nights of uninterrupted sleep. I love you lots Lillian …. but I gots to get some sleep!!!

March 29 2019:

On the hour long walk this morning I passed by a few wild horses just strolling down the trail. I told them they were beautiful as I walked by, stopped for a millisecond to take their photo, and thanked them. Beautiful beings.

Blossoms, bees, sunshine, blue skies, wild horses, and an abundance of bird song. It was an amazing and magical hour long walk today.

Amazing Tree in Virginia City and A Wild Ride Into the Sunset

March 16 2019:

Aunt Debbie is up from Mississippi visiting The Romano Duo. She always has to visit Virginia City when in the area.

Lillian and I went for a bit to listen to The Comstock Cowboys with them. And I got treated to a really yummy virgin Bloody Mary. Yum!! Thank you Aunt Debbie and Mom n Frank. ❤️❤️❤️

We always love to stop for photos of this view and amazing tree. Love, love, love …

March 19 2019:

Peace
Beauty
Knowing
Letting go.

The morning walk was the perfect way to begin yesterday. With an afternoon and evening that morphed into absolute wildness and unloveliness.

March 20 2019:

Sunset walk with Thomas, one of the humans I love the mostest. It was much colder and windier than I anticipated! My ears and hands were frozen. Check out the sky in the photo of Thomas. One side dark, the other bright blue! Wow!

Frozen in Time …. For a Moment

March 14 2019:

As I swiftly walked by the fountain this morning, I was stopped in my tracks. Nature is the most incredible artist. The beauty of these leaves suspended and frozen for a moment in time, captured my heart. And … I did spot a heart shaped leaf. Beautiful!!

I mean. Just had to give the heart shaped leaf it’s own post. The lil frozen bubbles, the green leaf down below, the frozen ripples, sections partially free from the frozen water. Ahhhhh ….

A Philosophy of Walking by Camilla Downs

A Philosophy of Walking

And she walked.
And she walked.
She walked until
Arriving at
The home of
Peace and Joy.
Discovering once there,
She had been
Here all along.

I went for an hour long walk this morning. My body and mind did not want to go. I went anyway.

Just as a cool glass of water slakes my thirst on a scorching hot day, going for walks quenches the thirst of my soul and heart to know my true self, to heal, to release, to allow joy, and to be at peace. Walking guides me in the loving way to process life, to fulfill life, and to let life be.

For the past 18 years I have been going for walks. The meaning and depth of the walks have ….

Making Snowballs With a Freezing Face and Tree Shadows With Snow Blankets

February 17 2019:

Played in the snow for a few minutes this afternoon. What a delight!

It was a cold, cold walk earlier this afternoon. My face froze!

February 19 2019:

The tree shadows called for my attention. Eye-catching!

February 22 2019:

A walk this morning … Beautiful how there’s snow blanketing the frozen sections.

Thomas and Camilla February 2019 Date Day

February 20 2019:

Thomas and Camilla February 2019 Date Day

Car picnic at South Valleys Sports Complex Park. Club sandwich for Thomas and 1/2 Veghead for me. Next up was the library. The place that houses one of our most favorite things!

After that was shopping for a new pair of ear buds for Thomas along with window shopping of computer monitors and keyboards. Thomas has plans and knows what he wants now that he’s had his current laptop for over a year.

Dessert! A caramel gelato bar for Thomas and Mexican wedding cookie for me.

An incredibly cold and slippery walk to end our date.Thomas lectured the ducks on the excessive use of pronouns. Those sweet babies thought we had food and all we offered were words! Beautiful and meaningful conversation all throughout the date. Perfect. In every way.
