Where Do You Travel When You Sleep

**THROWBACK POST**

October 9 2012:

I find this fascinating so thought I’d share … (FYI: I have Lillian’s permission to share this with y’all.)

A few nights ago Lillian told me she was going to fairy land while she was sleeping. I told her that sounds great and to have fun. Last night before bed she said there was going to be a huge Fairy Ball and she was looking forward to it. With a bit more enthusiasm this time, I chatted with her a minute about it and told her to have a great time again.

This morning she told me the Ball was so much fun and beautiful. Tonight there will be a visit from a very special Princess and a Rainbow Festival. We talked about what Lillian wore last night at the Fairy Ball and how she wore her hair and what she will wear tonight. We covered many details.

She’s going to tell me about the Rainbow Festival in the morning and I’m so looking forward to hearing about it. She then asked me where I’ll be going tonight while I’m sleeping … That stopped me in my tracks …

I thought to myself, What a darn good idea Lillian!! So, I told her where I’d be going and we chatted about that for a few … Where will you make it your intention to travel tonight while you’re asleep??

**October 25 2017 Update** – We choose a geographical location almost every night to which we will travel while sleeping. Last night was Tibet!

Solutions in the Form of Loving Kindness

**THROWBACK POST**

October 8 2015:

Picked out some fun pumpkins for our patio yesterday. As I was rearranging things on the patio last night, I found this little plastic pumpkin. I thought to myself, “It’s time to pass you on.” I’ve been toting two of these around in the Halloween decorations for at least 4 years and have not used them. It opens so to put candy goodies inside.

A few minutes later, little eight-year-old Sophia from upstairs walked by with her mom and grandma. I could hear her saying with such longing how much she wanted a pumpkin. Little pumpkin now has a new home with Ms. Sophia. I love when solutions in the form of loving kindness say, “Here I am.” xoxoxo

Making Cards and Listening to Music and Home Made Screen

**THROWBACK POST**

October 4 2015:

An afternoon of making cards and listening to Halloween party music. Love me some “Werewolf in London”, “Disco Inferno”, and “Boogeyman”.

Like my homemade screen door? Just love having the doors and windows open, yet not thrilled with flies and other little critters buzzing around our heads and food. This is working perfect. Had it hanging with thumbtacks to see how it worked. Hung it on a curtain rod today.

How Did You Make That

**THROWBACK POST**

October 4 2014:

A mom with a cute lil blinky hat, a fairy princess, and a fortune teller had a great time at the HDMS chili festival and craft fair! So many creative people with great creations for sale! Loved it!

Thomas was in heaven seeing all the things people make. He was going from table to table asking how they made it. He said he kept getting asked why he was so interested.

Comfortable Clothes

September 22 2017:

As we were leaving the store yesterday afternoon I thanked Thomas for being so easy to buy clothes for and not caring about brands. (Had to buy him two new pairs of pants yesterday as NONE of his from last spring fit anymore!)

He says, “I don’t stinking care what kind of clothes I wear or what I look like in them!” My thoughts exactly! Although, we all three have sensory issues! The only thing we care about is if the clothes are comfortable and don’t irritate our sensitivities.

Reiki Room and Outdoor Reiki

**THROWBACK POST**

September 27 2013:

The thoughtfulness of Thomas just warms me from head to toe, inside and out …

He’s building houses using the Lego Creator on the computer and he built me a cool Reiki Room in our house and even an outdoor area for Reiki!

How cool would that be to have a Reiki session outdoors in nature!! Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!

Last Craniosacral Session for Lillian and Library Volunteering

September 11 2017:

Lillian’s last craniosacral session since Anthem Blue Cross has decided these sessions are not helping her so they will no longer pay. We so much appreciate Christine! Lillian has been seeing her for 3 years now.

Aren’t we blessed that people who know nothing about chromosome deletions and nothing about the intricacies of pain levels that are sometimes better and sometimes worse are so knowledgable about what’s best for us?

We have not given up. We’ll try starting sessions again in 2018 after she’s had three months without them. Beautiful hibiscus to send us off ….xoxoxo

This is to Have Succeeded

**THROWBACK POST**

September 25 2013:

“To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded.” -Ralph Waldo Emerson …….

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you to all y’all for your support, love, encouragement and kindness! I am completely booked next week with Reiki sessions! I am grateful to each and every one of you …. for your trust and for hangin’ with this crazy gal while I decided exactly what I wanna be when I grow up! HA!

For now I have found my outlet for doing what I have longed … simply to help others and to share the love and kindness within my own heart and soul. xoxo – Camilla
