Grind Those Coffee Beans With Whole Chamomile Flowers

May 28 2020

Is it wrong to look forward to “playing” with this every morning? If it’s wrong, I don’t want to be right! Ha!

Have to share how much I’m enjoying this recent purchase. About a month ago, when buying coffee beans, I forgot to grind them using the store grinder.

I researched for the best, compact, affordable, manual coffee bean grinder. This is the result. Thomas keeps asking if he can grind my beans. Yes, but, but, then I don’t get to do it. HA!

I never much cared for chamomile tea. I always thought it weak, with barely any flavor. Until I purchased these organic whole chamomile flowers recently. Oh my goodness. It is quite good! Deep, rich, smooth, and perfect.

Elephant in the Room With Inconvenient Hair While An Octopus Watches

April 21 2020:

Went to go to bed. Thomas. You crack me up with your randomness.

May 5 2020

He has sensory issues, first of all, and has really thick hair. And, does not like nails or hair … anything that requires maintenance! Why do we have to have hair and nails???? He’s serious, too!

Thomas randomness. Found on the kitchen table: One red, squishy octopus. I’m so blessed by Thomas. He brings laughter every single day!

Movie Night: Just Mercy

June 5 2020

Extra movie night for me: “Just Mercy”

Powerful true story. My heart hurts and I’m sobbing. Not having read the book by Bryan Stevenson or knowing the story, I assumed the events of this movie were from the 60’s or 70’s. I heard a radio interview with Mr. Stevenson a couple of months ago, but I missed the timeline for the events.

I’m ashamed I did not know the horrors that were happening while I grew up and lived in the state next door, Mississippi … most likely happening there too.

When I said goodbye to the Deep South in 1989, and all my family, I knew in my heart I had to leave. I just didn’t consciously know why. Sometimes one has to shake ones world up, to wake up. Thank you Bryan Stevenson for your bravery and courage.
