November 27 2019:
I’m thankful for the beautiful, sparkly, feel good blanket of snow this morning. It’s lovely to have reminders from Mother Nature of the beauty of life, being comforted by the loving touch only she can deliver. Here’s a photo at our temporary place, of the snow covered patio and the wonderful view.
November 26 2019:
Yesterday was the Lillian and Camilla November 2019 Date Day
First stop: Shopping for a new sofa. Our sofa and love seat were falling apart so got rid of them when moving last Monday. Found one!
Second stop: Fries and snickerdoodle cookie for Lillian. Brussel sprouts with toasted almonds and tamari for me.
Last stops: Window shopping.

Stopped by Great Basin Community Food Coop this afternoon to get a chunk of solid cocoa butter and had a great time chatting with the person who checked me out. As I was leaving, he said, “Thanks for the company.” … I like that. Have never heard that before. Yet, that’s what we were doing .. keeping each other company for a few minutes talking about eating good fats! Spreadin it!
May 24 2015:
Hey y’all! Had our first dinner with The Romano Duo last night … Homemade lasagne … YUM!! They always bring little gifts for us and this wall plaque was one of mine. Cool y’all!!

Extra movie night for me – “The Man Who Invented Christmas”
Never got around to this one last year. What a journey it was for Dickens to create ‘A Christmas Carol.’ Thoroughly enjoyed it.
Thomas and Lillian sat this one out.

Team TLC Movie Night – First one in the temporary place. My choice: “Green Book”
I say, “Loved the friendship these two created together, their journey to awakening, to understanding. Loved every minute. Seeing this, it’s easier to understand the tensions I felt growing up in the Deep South in the 70’s. Why are people so cruel? Never understood it as a child and still don’t.”
Thomas says, “Yeah, I liked it.”
Lillian sat this one out.

Team TLC Movie Night: Double Feature: Second Movie: Lillian’s choice – “The Secret of Roan Inish” – Second time around for this one. Watched many years ago.
Lillian says, “Good, favorite character is Fiona, liked the background music, and liked the way they spoke.”
I say, “Lovely story with a brave and courageous young girl. Love it!”
Thomas sat out this time as he watched it the first time around.

Team TLC movie night – Double Feature: First Movie: Lillian’s choice: “ Holiday Inn”
Lillian says, “Good, classic, 100% recommend, like the songs, musical, my favorite song is ‘White Christmas’, my favorite actress is Marjorie Reynolds, and good to watch around Christmas.”
I say, “Love watching this every year around this time.”
Thomas says, “It was good.”

Last solo walk around the lil lake. Thank you for nurturing my soul for 4 years. Grateful for every single walk, grateful for the poetry inspired, grateful that Team TLC had this beautiful space five minutes from our door. We’ll be back for walks here and there. Deeply grateful and incredibly excited for this new adventure we’re stepping into.
