Ever wonder why the trees sparkle with water? Lillian wondered this and was inspired to write a story about it … She’s on a roll … Go Lillian Go! xoxo

Once long ago, there lived a family of trees in a faraway land of Tree Land. The trees names were Pine, Cherry, Apple, and Fire (also known as Delphine). They all lived happily in their home which was called the Palace of Fruit. One day, an invitation arrived at the Palace of Fruit.

The invitation had said that the Ice King was having a tree ball to find the perfect tree for him to decorate. After the family of trees read the invitation, they knew that they had to have the most beautiful dress ever.

So Cherry and Apple went to Fashionable Blooms Store to look for a gorgeous dress. Meanwhile, Pine and Fire went to Fairytale Blossoms Store for a pretty dress. Cherry and Apple realized that they were in the wrong store so they went to Fairytale Blossoms Store instead.

While Cherry and Apple were at Fairytale Blossoms Store, Pine and Fire also had realized that they had been in the wrong store. So Pine and Fire went to Fashionable Blooms Store instead.

One Blood Test – One Phone Call – One Moment in Time

What a magical surprise waiting in the mail today! After it took an HOUR to drive to HDMS to get Thomas this afternoon. It usually takes 12 minutes. Then 30 minutes home as we had to bypass the closed portion of the highway.

It was a blessing to have this waiting in the mail …. along with another envelope with some surprise money for Team TLC. Thank you Veronica Wain for mailing hard copies of the journal. This is the third nudge I’ve received today to share this article again which was published this past fall.

Listening to those nudges … Here’s an excerpt and a link to read the full article. May your heart land on just the right passage at just the right moment …

“One blood test, one phone call, one moment in time, drastically changed the direction of my life forever. I know more about genetics, chromosomes, DNA, motor skills, verbal skills, and now emotional and behavioural issues than I ever thought I would need or want to know. ……. I thought I had life pretty much planned at that point and for a while this brief phone call seemed to have caused my life to break apart like a melting iceberg with pieces scattering here and there. Looking back now, all that was brought into my life, all that occurred, all that began, and all that ended were meant to happen for my own growth and enlightenment. An enlightenment I feel spreads far beyond myself and my family as I believe we are all connected.”

The Tapestry of Life or Something Like That

Mailing this today reminded me of the stories about the tapestry of life … something like how one action leads to another, to another and they are all connected.

Barbara Hranilovich and I met online back in 2007. I asked her to blog for a website I owned at the time. She did and her articles were incredibly informative and just plain good.

I suggested she make the articles into a book as each article was about being an entrepreneur and each was paired with a letter of the alphabet. I’m pretty sure that was already Barb’s line of thinking as months later, after I had abandoned the blog, I received a book in the mail, titled “E is for Entrepreneur”.

Barb had created a book from the articles and I didn’t even know until she mailed me the finished product. Barb had included me in her gratitude list in the book and hand wrote a note that the book would never have happened without me.

However, I did not see the note or my name on the gratitude list as it came when I was packing. It was put into a box and I came across it a year or so later ….. when I was trying to figure out the style of my book.

It was exactly what I needed to receive, see, and find to shine the light on how my book was to be written. Hence, “D iz for Different – One Woman’s Journey to Acceptance”.

And, I didn’t tell Barb about it at all. I simply mailed her a book when it was finished with a similar message that she had written to me.

Side note: Barb loves fairies. Years ago she mailed Lillian a fairy book Barb had illustrated, plus a fairy house we keep hanging on our wall.

Now, today, I mailed her a book of fairy tales written by Lillian Darnell!

And we’ve never met in person …. Beautiful, magical, and wonderful tapestry of life …. xoxo

February 4 2018:

I received my copy of Lillian’s beautiful book and have enjoyed browsing through the many delightful stories. I love the immensely witty dialogue and the truly magical storylines, and I swear there is a bright light shining through each and every word. One of my favorites is “A Mindful Mermaid Story.” I think I’ll have to try doing some MM sometime. : ) And, I definitely also love my notebook!

Yay!!! Lillian Darnell look what arrived in our Mailbox today xx thanks to your Mum Camilla Downs for posting this to Us. Ella’s favourite chapter so far is The Flying Unicorns create a Rainbow 🌈 as Ella loves Rainbows and unicorns.

For my FB friends that don’t know, Lillian and Ella share something very special. They are Unique human beings who only come around once in every 56,000 births. They are missing the short arm of their 18th Chromosome. We have become friends with Lillian, her Mum Camilla and Brother Thomas. Even though they live in Reno USA we keep in touch most days 💖
