Lillian and Camilla January 2020 Date Day

February 7 2020

Lillian and Camilla January 2020 Date Day … (a little late)

First stop was a wonderfully warm walk around the lake.

She and I have had an incredibly rough day. One of the toughest, roughest parenting days I think I’ve had to date. Please send us love and good juju that she eventually understands and accepts the decisions I’ve had to firmly help her make today. She is not happy with me and is deeply sad … xoxo

Second stop was for fries for us to share, with a lovely heart shaped cookie for Lillian, and yummy piece of dark chocolate with pink Himalayan salt for me.

Next was Barnes & Noble so as to use a gift card Lillian got for her graduation. Last was a quick stop for a few more minutes of window shopping.

Supported Decision Making Agreement and Room Rental Agreement Done

February 2 2020

It is FINALLY done!! I have just finished creating the Supported Decision Making Agreement for Lillian. She and I will sign it tomorrow in front of two witnesses … The Romano Duo … January has been, and February will be, all about paperwork, lots of paperwork …. Come March, we should be finished with all the big ones. Next up, Power of Attorney for Medical and Financial. Hallelujah!! 🎉🎉🎉

February 4 2020

Another one done!! Room Rental Agreement created. Nearly finished with the Power of Attorney documents also. Then it’s on to opening checking/savings accounts and an ABLE account. Feels so good to be getting these things done. 🥳💜

More Found Treasures

February 2 2020

Ahhhhh …. To have them be in this space where they actually like one another, that would be such a blessing. ❤️❤️❤️

Looking through thumb drives and found photos I had forgotten about – Actually thought they were lost as they were on a computer that died, and I no longer have it. So glad I still have these!

Throwback Post: Patience While Worrying with Relaxing and Cleaning and Laughing

**THROWBACK POST**

May 26 2015:

Reminders about life from conversations with Thomas …

Discussing patience with him. He does not like to be patient. As I’m putting him to bed, he says, “Like you need to be patient?” There are some changes going on and I’m getting all worked up about not knowing and not being able to control the result right now, not having an answer right now. I said, “So I should just stop worrying, stop trying to figure it out, just release it, and know that everything will work out as it should?” “Yep, something like that” -Thomas …

My shoulders and neck liked that. They can now move back to their proper location instead of wrapped around my ears. I just LOVE the way this all works. I think others needed to hear this tonight too. Love to you .. xoxo

May 26 2013:

We had a GREAT day relaxing at home with a little bit of cleaning and pulling weeds, lots of laughing and tons of reading! LOVE!!

Respite with a Lovely Dinner Followed by the Detention Center with Picard

January 22 2020

First respite in our new place. Had a lovely dinner of salad and mashed red potatoes, alongside a soft, mouthwatering piece of garlic naan.

Lillian left this afternoon to spend a few days with The Romano Duo. Yay for her! Yay for me! Yay for Thomas!

I’ve helped Thomas hang a few treasures on his wall. Now I’m off to have a long hot soak in an epsom salt bath. Ahhhhhhh … 🛀💙

January 23 2020

Day 2 of respite – Toured the Washoe County Detention Center, bought toilet paper and bread, answered questions for a book blogger who will blog about me and the latest book, went for a walk, hung more treasures on Thomas’s wall, and signed up for a free trial on CBS Access just so I could watch this.

I haven’t watched TV or a television series since 2008. The free trial is only for 7 days so I won’t be watching further episodes …. for now. I think I’ve had a very interesting (weird??) day!! Ha!

March 8, 2020 Update – After the free trial, I got notice that Amazon was offering a free trial also. Signed up for that and got to watch the second episode. Due to a mix up and error on Amazon’s part (charged me during the free trial – so gave me a free week or two), I got to watch more episodes. I’m committed until the end now! HA! I think there are 3 episodes left for the season. It’s been nostalgic and wonderful to watch Patrick Stewart in this role again, along with the guest appearances by other cast members.

Throwback Post: Snow Eating Snake

**THROWBACK POST**

May 26 2010:

Lillian and Thomas were about to have a throw down cause Thomas’s snake was eating the snow. I suggested to Thomas that his snake eat the worms on the ground that have snow on top of them. Throw down averted!! {This is all imaginery stuff my friends!!} Hahahahahahahaha!!

Lillian and Camilla December 2019 Date Day

December 12 2019:

Lillian and Camilla December 2019 Date Day

First stop: A walk around the lake. Pretty cool clouds.

Second stop: Lots of window shopping.

Third stop: French fries and chocolate covered peppermint topped Cooke for Lillian. Fries and a vegan soft sandwich cookie for me.

Last stop: More window shopping. Lillian says that i need this pillow … or at least the word on the pillow. Yes, yes. I’m tired, grumpy, and overwhelmed.

I Love Our Weirdness and How We Celebrate

November 28 2019:

My loves …. I love our weirdness …

… and The Romano Duo … and Robert and Samantha.

November 29, 2019:

We had a wee celebration Wednesday night in honor of Lillian conquering her fear of open spaces/stairs. Each of us chose a piece of candy, toasted our candies, and said a few words in honor of the occasion.

The temporary place has cathedral ceilings and those have always been an issue for Lillian. Especially when paired with stairs. Another fear bites the dust!!
