**THROWBACK POST**
September 23 2016:
More crazy beautiful clouds on the walk with Lillian after dinner on Wednesday. So enchanting! xoxo
October 10 2020
Yesterday was the Lillian and Camilla October 2020 Date Day
First stop: I picked up an order of fries for Lillian and we had a great lunch at home.
Next stop: A trip to Wilbur May Arboretum. So much gorgeousness = tons of photos!
Last stop: Lillian picked out her pumpkin and chose a sugar cookie with red icing, in the shape of an apple.

Air quality was back in the red/unhealthy today, so Thomas and I played badminton in the indoor sport court. It was our first time using it.🏸
As soon as we get a basketball, a volleyball, and a pickle ball set, we have those as options, too. Looks like they’re almost finished with the outdoor sand volleyball court and the bocce ball court too. Fun! 🏀 🏐 🥒 🏀
The air quality finally improved just before dinner, so Lillian and I went for a moonlit walk. Beautiful moon bath.

Lovely walk this afternoon. Air quality not so good, but not too bad for a walk.
October 9 2020
Lillian and I have been having our walks after dinner. It gets dark on us so we stay in our community and walk around. They’re slowly finishing more buildings and opening up more of the property. Last night, we saw that the sand volleyball court is finally finished! Can’t wait to try it out!

Sunrise this morning. Fingers crossed that we’re past the worst of the smoke.

Thomas and I went for a hike on the Tamarack Lake Trail earlier this afternoon. Incredibly beautiful and peaceful.
Thomas had fun hitting rocks into the lake. I included some blooper photos of trying to take selfies with the wild wind that was blowing, and a blooper of what happens when Thomas takes my photo … He keeps taking the photo until I take my phone away! Crazy kid!

Gorgeous sunset tonight.

After dinner walk with Lillian last Thursday. Love these walks.
August 16 2020
Wild sunset last night. Sounds like it was mostly due to a raging fire in northern California.
August 18 2020
Morning walk. Whew! Humid and hot. The rain yesterday afternoon was refreshing. Needed more though.
August 9 2020
There were many wonderful walks, clouds and sunsets during the two week stay at home vacation and social media break.
August 11 2020
Sunset walk with Lillian.
Sometimes parenting is a bed of roses.
Sometimes parenting is a bed of thorns.
Sometimes I know exactly where I’m going.
Sometimes I don’t know whether I’m coming or going.
Yet, the walks I take, the scenes my eyes frame, the photos I take, being in nature, always brings peace and comfort.
August 13 2020
Wonderful early morning walk. I love these lil fuzzy ornamental grasses. They glow in the sunlight.
July 21 2020
A lovely walk early this morning. Soul food.
July 23 2020
Sunrise walk this morning. Fire in the Virginia Foothills this morning. It was contained in a new construction area, but seemed to take a while to get fully out. They were still working on it, when I got home from the grocery store at 10:00.
July 24 2020
Early morning walk. Love this lil fuzzy ornamental grass.
July 25 2020
Sunset last night.

Thomas and Camilla June 2020 Date Day
First stop: Yakisoba style spicy bowl and Rangoon for Thomas from Teriyaki Madness. Red miso ramen for me, from my kitchen. Dessert: Vanilla bean “ice cream” sandwich.
Second stop: Galena Bitterbrush Trail. Ended the walk with seeing a doe and buck. Beautiful.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a flock of pelicans flying overhead. There were about 15 of them. It was beautiful! I’ve seen a few in the lakes around here. Just not that many. (Absolutely horrible photos, but I couldn’t resist sharing.)
June 15 2020
Incredibly windy walk with Thomas this afternoon. Still beautiful. Still magical.
June 18 2020
Thomas and I had a beautiful walk at a park we visited many times when he and Lillian were younger. We’d planned on hitting tennis balls around, but the court was occupied. Next time.

The sky and clouds last night. I mean. Who else saw it? Magnificent.
