Team TLC Thanksgiving 2017

November 23 2017:

Ever since The Romano Duo moved, Team TLC doesn’t have the more traditional Thanksgiving food; except for a few yummies – pumpkin bread, homemade cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie, and green bean casserole.

I have Thomas and Lillian make a list of what they’d like to eat and that’s what we have. Pumpkin bread and pumpkin pie are on Lillian’s list along with other goodies. Green bean casserole and cranberry sauce are on Thomas’ list. I’m vegetarian and no one else likes turkey. So, whew!

I’m about to put together our snacking platter of chips, dips, olives, pickles, hummus and we’ll have the other goodies for dinner.

I am deeply thankful for our wee homegrown, do it how it suits us, Team TLC day of giving thanks. xoxoxo

One of the most colorful Thanksgiving dinners I think I’ve had.

Raspberry Cranberry Spritzer, cranberries, green bean casserole, and my new favorite sweet potato …. purple!! Oh my gosh! Beautiful lavender color and tastes delicious! Thank you Mother Nature for such amazing, beautiful, and delicious foods!

Ended our night by watching “It’s a Wonderful Life” … We love this movie and watching it this time of year!

Sunset walk with Thomas. Lillian is still recovering from the fall she took on Friday. The cool down has begun.

Such an incredibly beautiful sky this afternoon. I received a special treat from a beautiful friend and this is the amazing sky that blessed me as I left her place and headed to volunteering at the library. Thank you Kathy!!!!

Private Wild Child Nature Session

September 16 2017:

Now I’m even more excited! Look at the nature gem at which I’ll be facilitating tomorrow’s private Wild Child Nature session. So incredibly blessed!

September 17 2017:

What a wonderful Wild Child Nature Session this morning. I was blessed to meet young Brian, Protector of the Forest.

Brian describes grass as happy and has an amazing tree house at home and now has one in his imagination that he can visit anytime.

Now he knows how to ground himself using the Earth and knows he and Nature are one. He learned two new words to look up when he got home: nodule and blessed.

During our short walk I found a great rock for him to use as a worry stone; which I infused with Reiki. I was incredibly blessed he received it as a true treasure!

Thank you to Kari, Brian’s mom, and their friend Russell for a peaceful morning.

Volunteering at the Library and Humane Society

September 7 2017:

First day volunteering at our home away from home! Thomas took a picture as we were leaving and we had Mary take a picture of us with our official badges!

Our library tour was easy since we already know everyone there and we already know the library layout having been going two or three times per month for the past ten years.

Lillian enjoyed getting to see behind the counter where the books are returned and where all the behind the scenes action takes place. We will be there every Wednesday from 2-4.

I may be a tad more excited than Lillian! Ha!!! I am truly inspired by the written word. xoxoxo

Thomas’ turn now! He wants to volunteer at the Nevada Humane Society working with cats and small animals. Orientation set for October 1st! He’s very excited!

Here’s a picture of Cinamon who was with me for 18 years (from the time she was a wee tiny one). Thomas got to have about five years with her before she crossed the Rainbow Bridge in 2010. xoxoxo

Thomas had vaulting lessons again this afternoon. I got to do a photo shoot of the trail to add with the clubhouse photos from last week. This is only half of them Barbara Chastain! Sweet Aroma and Savor Each Bite and Powerful Drum Circle

June 4 2017:

No utensils needed once cut into wedges. Breathe in the pure and sweet aroma. Use fingers and slowly savor each bite. Lick fingers when done. Mindful eating is like the bliss of a good, long soak in a warm bath. Ahhhhhhhh!! xoxo

Today I turned in Volunteer applications for Lillian and I for the South Valleys Library. We have orientation on July 21st and then we can get some extra time in one of our favorite places!!! As Susan Moran would have said … Happy Dancing …. xoxo
