Poetic Clouds With New Discoveries While Hugging Trees and Nature Leads the Way

Today’s walk with Thomas. A new to us walk. Plus, we discovered this great looking sport called Disc Golf. Looks fun!

We’ve been inside since Saturday, and will only be going out for walks. Lillian’s immune system is weaker than mine and Thomas’s and I want to do our part to keep this from spreading. Will have to figure out what to do about groceries near the end of the week. Sending love to all ….

I had never heard of disc golf. There happened to be two men there playing it, and from across the ditch I asked him to tell me about it. It’s got the same sort of strategy as golf, yet, you use frisbee like disks of varying weights and sizes. Tossing them from a distance into standing “baskets”. It looked fun!

The guy I talked with just happened to be the one who founded this course and set it up three years ago. It’s near South Valleys Park and Library (Reno, NV), in what looks like a huge ditch. I had heard there was a walking trail there, so that’s why we were there. Now if you walk, you’ve got to mind the space above your head for flying discs!! He said I could get a beginner kit at a sporting goods store. Now you know what disc golf is … in my laymen description anyway …

Maybe this afternoons walk wasn’t such a good idea. My legs and hands are still frozen. However, I hugged a tree and found some love along the way!! Trees are GREAT huggers!

Amazing Clouds With a Bright Moon and Lovely Cherry Blossoms Alongside a Cloudy Sunset While Tree Shadows Linger

March 10 2020

More amazing clouds … from yesterday ..

March 10 2020

The moon was incredibly bright last night. Lillian woke me about 3:30 am due to a hurting stomach. We both had to take photos of the moon as it’s shine through the patio door caught our attention. 🖤

Lovely hour long walk with Thomas yesterday. 💙💙💙

March 12 2020

Spotted yesterday as Lillian and I left the bank. Our second attempt to set up a new “Rep Payee” account. Perhaps the third time will be the charm. 💞

The Soothing Medicine of Mother Nature With a Million Questions

February 16 2020:

Quick drive to Washoe Lake. Thank you Mother Nature for the soothing medicine. My entire body and soul relaxed deeply in your loving embrace.

It was a struggle to get Lillian to leave the house. It was a struggle to get her out of the car. I pray nature helped her, at least a little bit. Deeply grateful this beautiful lake is only about a 15 minute drive away. 🙏♥️♥️♥️🙏

February 20 2020:

Lillian left yesterday afternoon to spend a couple of days with The Romano Duo. A much needed break for both of us. Hope you’re having fun, Lillian!! 🎉🎉🎉

Thomas and I are just back from an hour long walk. Incredibly beautiful and peaceful …. Well, except for the million questions from Thomas.

From the moment he could talk he’s asked one question after another after another. He’s still at it. The questions have gotten harder to answer though!

When he was about 4 or 5 years old, my mom asked me how on Earth I answered all of his questions. I told her I just answered the most recent one. He literally used to ask a string of questions all at once! What a heart warming memory to have popped up! 💜💜💜

Much Needed Walk With Beautiful Sky Reflections

February 11 2020

A much needed walk this afternoon. Please continue sending the love, healing energy, and good juju to Lillian (and us) as I try to help her understand something. She’s never been in this space before and we are struggling. Deep gratitude. 🙏♥️♥️♥️🙏

February 14 2020

Wonderful walk around the lake today. Beautiful sky, clouds, and reflections. 💙

February 15 2020:

What a sky this morning?! Thank you Mother Nature … 🙏💙

Lillian and Camilla February 2020 Date Day

February 13 2020

Lillian and Camilla February 2020 Date Day

First stop was for fries to share, a butterfly cookie for Lillian, and giant vegan ginger cookie for me.

Second stop was a beautiful walk, with a final stop for a bit of window shopping. xoxo

I deeply appreciate all the love being sent Lillian’s (our) way. It may look like all is well in these photos. Yet, the struggle continues. Tomorrow will be one week out from me ruining her life (as she sees it), one week out from me making a decision in the best interest of her mental and physical safety. Things are definitely better than last Friday. Yet, it’s slow going.

Deeply proud of Thomas throughout this entire ordeal. A younger sibling who stepped into the role of an older sibling this past week. As much as I tried not to have the maddening aspect of this, along with the sadness of this situation leak out of my eyes and heart to him, it happened. And he comforted me. Thank you Thomas. I love you.

Lillian and Camilla January 2020 Date Day

February 7 2020

Lillian and Camilla January 2020 Date Day … (a little late)

First stop was a wonderfully warm walk around the lake.

She and I have had an incredibly rough day. One of the toughest, roughest parenting days I think I’ve had to date. Please send us love and good juju that she eventually understands and accepts the decisions I’ve had to firmly help her make today. She is not happy with me and is deeply sad … xoxo

Second stop was for fries for us to share, with a lovely heart shaped cookie for Lillian, and yummy piece of dark chocolate with pink Himalayan salt for me.

Next was Barnes & Noble so as to use a gift card Lillian got for her graduation. Last was a quick stop for a few more minutes of window shopping.

Massive Sky Art with Beautiful Wild Horses

February 1 2020

Sky Art from this morning. My eyes cannot even consume, digest, comprehend the beauty, the serenity, the grace. 🙏♥️

February 2 2020

Yesterday’s sky art showing …. This cloud was so massive that I couldn’t get it all in one frame. It stayed nearly in the same position all day long. 💙

February 4 2020

The afternoon walk. Gorgeous and quiet. Had to stop in the middle of the road on the drive home as a family of wild horses crossed. Most times they use the crosswalk. They getting all wild n crazy. Ha! My phone had gone dead so no photo.

February 6 2020

Afternoon walk with Thomas …. Went back to visit our old stomping grounds. Still beautiful. ♥️♥️♥️

Throwback Post – Hold Out Your Hands

**THROWBACK POST**

May 27 2014:

“Hold out your hands to feel the luxury of the sunbeams. Press the soft blossoms against your cheek, and finger their graces of form, their delicate mutability of shape, their pliancy and freshness. Expose your face to the aerial floods that sweep the heavens, “inhale great draughts of space,” wonder, wonder at the wind’s unwearied activity.

Pile note on note the infinite music that flows increasingly to your soul from the tactual sonorities of a thousand branches and rumbling waters ….. I am sure that if a fairy bade me choose between the sense of sight and that of touch, I would not part with the warm, endearing contact of human hands or the wealth of form, the mobility and fullness that press into my palms.” – The Faith of Helen Keller

Walk with Thomas earlier this evening … Just got to see how this picture turned out .. LOVE it! Looks like a giant lit match or giant glow ball on a stick! HA! It’s a lamp post with the sun lined up right on top of it!

LOVE looking for LOVE everywhere we go!

Came across a dead bird. Thomas said we had to have a funeral for it. He found a stick to push it into the bushes. I said some kind words about Mr. Birds soul … and we carried on … then we came across the big heart rock in one of these pictures! xoxo

Honeysuckle …. I LOVE HONEYSUCKLE!!!!!!!!!! Intoxicating!
