Throwback Post: Welcome to the Messages

**THROWBACK POST**

September 4 2014:

Team TLC goes for a daily walk and for the past 4 days or so “messages” keep blowing by us or we walk by them. I didn’t take pictures of the first two. The first message was “Welcome”. Next was “Enjoy”. Then, “Love”; which I kept and today it was “Triumph”. And then I found a quarter! HA! We’re having FUN with this y’all!

Throwback Post: It Shows Unity

**THROWBACK POST**

September 4 2015:

The end of a full week of moving, unpacking, and subbing every day. More wall wisdom from the classrooms. Best part: a middle school student asked if I liked the school. I told him that we liked it. He caught that I said “we”. I explained that I’m in the habit of saying that in referring to Team TLC. He said, “I like that. I like that a lot. It shows unity.” Seriously! I love these kids!

Throwback Post: I Can Do It

**THROWBACK POST**

September 5 2011:

You think you’re kids aren’t really listening to anything that you say and then . . .

Watching a kid’s show yesterday one of the characters says, “I can’t” about something he was trying to do. Thomas turns to Lillian and says, “He’ll never be able to do it if he thinks that. He should say, “I can do it”.

WOW! Now I’ve really gotta watch what I say around this little dude . . . he’s really listening! Happy Labor Day y’all . . . Enjoy your day. You can do it!

Throwback Post: An Uplifting and Honest Book

**THROWBACK POST**

September 5 2012:

Thank you tons and tons Kathy for the Amazon review …

“An uplifting and honest book about facing life’s challenges. Teaches you that how you respond to adversity is within your control and that you can still be happy even when circumstances are less than perfect. As the mother of a child with special needs, I really connected with the author. A great read!”
