Exciting news!! Lillian Darnell’s book, Where Would You Fly, is being converted to an ebook. Finally!! We’ll let everyone know when it’s finished. We’ll have a special for free or low cost, and perhaps maybe a mini-launch. This opens it up to a much wider audience. YAY!!
April 3 2020:
Another one checked off the list! New bank account set up for Lillian’s SSI! Finished at 5:56 pm today. The entire process has taken about a month, to month and a half, due to needing paperwork from SS.
This last part has taken about a week and a half as we did it through email, text, phone, and DocuSign. Yet, it’s done!! Only one item left now for the Lillian-Turned-18-Paperwork-And-To-Do-List-Palooza … Creating an ABLE account.

Lillian and I just had our first Zoom experience. We were scheduled for a home visit/annual review (in regards to services Lillian receives and my role as a Host Home Provider) today at 2:00. Welcome, Camilla, and thanks for speaking with me on Last Word of the Week. Why is writing important to you?
Writing has been a sanity saving bridge, in processing life experiences, in being a single parent, in being a parent to a special needs child, in making decisions. Writing has been my way of sharing what I’m experiencing, getting it out of my head, being comforted, assured, cheered on, and, at times, receiving direction.
It’s definitely a two-way street. What’s the best response you’ve ever had to your writing?
The best response is a compilation of the responses in which others share how my writings have inspired or helped them in some way. There’s nothing better than receiving a message or review that lets me know that my writing was useful to someone.
What five words would best describe your style?
Wild, unfiltered, from the heart.
Delightful! Do you write for yourself or for a particular audience?
To date, I have always written for myself. Writing is how I process and experience life. The feedback received when sharing what I write is what encouraged me to pursue publishing the content ….. Follow the link below to read further …

Team TLC Movie Night – Well, just me, as Thomas and Lillian didn’t care to see this one. My choice: “Becoming Jane”
This one has been on my list for a while. The acting was great, scenery wonderful. The story ignited triggers for me. I find myself feeling extremely sad and angry. Ha! Grrr!

A grilled portobello deluxe accidentally fell into my online cart at Great Full Gardens earlier today when I ordered the lunch soup. I’m so grateful it did!!! Delicious! And while we were ordering Lillian’s fries, a cheeseburger and fries accidentally got added to the order for Thomas. Made for an easy night of dinner making for me.
