Rainbow on a Cloud’s Edge with a Tree Inspired Heart as Beauty is Hot

June 30 2019:

Took a neighbors dog for a quick walk before our movie night. Cool rainbow on the edge of a cloud that reflected into the water! Beautiful!

July 1 2019:

Had a lil buddy with me for the walk yesterday. Isn’t Oliver cute? More beautiful sunshine and trees!!

July 10 2019:

Missed the Golden hour last night. Beautiful walk with Thomas. The breeze was perfect! And, the trees made a heart shape for me! Thank you Mother Nature.

July 12 2019:

After dinner walk with my lil buddy Oliver, neighbors doggie. Hot, hot, hot!!! Whew! Beautiful and peaceful too … Oliver and I were the only two out for a walk. Did I say it was hot?!

Good Times at The Romano Duos

July 5 2019:

From yesterday … Just had to share all of them. The expressions. 😜😂💛💛💛

Such a good time. Just hanging out, playing UNO, and taking silly photos …. and eating some amazing food!! And seeing Samantha, my niece (the one standing beside Thomas), one more time before she heads back to Louisiana on Wednesday.

Check out my dinner plate! I was in food heaven! Grilled asparagus, yellow squash, and pineapple along with colorful potatoes, sweet corn on the cob, and a vegan pasta salad. Nom, nom!!! With s’mores for dessert!!! 😋😋😋

**THROWBACK POST**

May 11 2015

For the last few years I’ve given a note and a small gift to Thomas and Lillian on Mothers Day. Doing this just speaks to me. I do love receiving the beautiful hand made gifts they make too. And do enjoy the day of specific gratitude for moms. They have been looking at these soaps for months now so I got them each a bar. xoxo

Buy Me a Coffee – Thank YOU

Hello beautiful friends, family, and some wonderful people I really just don’t know! Hahaha! If you enjoy, are inspired by, motivated by or just love the content, writings, poetry and photography I share here and on CamillaDowns.com, MeetingtheAuthors.com or TheTeamTLC.com; I invite you to buy me a coffee!!

I put a ton of work into all of these venues, and I love doing it! I need plenty of caffeine to keep up with all these things, on top of being a single mom to two beautiful (and one incredibly needy) kiddos!! Much love to all of YOU! xoxo

Thank you to those who have bought a coffee, rounds of coffee, even! Deeply blessed! -Camilla

Majestic and Magical Lake Tahoe

June 26 2019:

Lillian and I had planned on visiting the Incline Village library yesterday as she wanted to get movies for the long weekend with The Romano Duo (which started today)! Yay!!!! Respite for me started today through Saturday afternoon!!! Wahoooo!!!

We were delayed making our way up there as we had to make a quick run to the doctor for Lillian to have the redness underneath her eye checked. And to confirm it’s allergy related. (For those that don’t know the area, Incline Village and Lake Tahoe are a 30-40 minute drive from here.)

We finally arrived at the library 10 minutes before closing. Good thing we’re fast as we found about 10 movies and checked out with 1 minute to spare! Three years ago, leading up to the 2016 Chromosome 18 Conference, Lillian conquered her fear of using the stairs without my assistance. She wanted to revisit that fear before we left the library!! Yes!!! Go Lillian go!! 💥💥💥

I did not want to have driven all that way for only a 10 minute stop at the library. So we visited Kings Beach to bask in the sand, sky, trees, wind, waves, and the magical and majestic Lake Tahoe. She’s a beauty, isn’t she?

Love the wee bubbles of splashing water captured in the first photo! And what a wonderful photo of Lillian looking at the lake. The photos I’ve been posting don’t do her justice. So magical.

Good Food at The Romano Duo’s Place and Aunt Camilla

June 17 2019:

It was a BBQ at The Romano Duo’s place yesterday. I got to see my niece, Samantha, who I haven’t seen since she was 1 year old. And Thomas and Lillian got to meet her for the first time. Thomas and Samantha are about 9 months apart. She’s up from Louisiana visiting her dad, my brother, Robert.

Look at the amazing veggie and pineapple kabobs Frank made just for me. Yum! Yum!! 💗😋

We were graced with a beautiful and bright rainbow too!!! 💞💜

June 23 2019:

I got a text today that began, Hey Aunt Camilla …. what? I had to go back and reread that. I’ve never been called that. And. For some reason, my throat seized, my nose got runny, my eyes began to burn, and liquid dripped from my eyes.

The last time I saw Samantha, my brothers daughter, she was 1 year old. She’s up from Louisiana visiting him for a few weeks. And. She just called me Aunt Camilla. ♥️💜♥️
