“As I visit you day by day,
the secret to life is shared with me.
Every time, a different way.
Each time we part,
I leave knowing the true me.” ~Camilla Downs

Sunset Walk and Slow Down and Uncovering Life’s Truths

September 27 2016:

Sunset walk with Thomas and Lillian last night …. Which held a message I am moved to share.

At the Round Dance Thomas and I participated in on Sunday, we listened to the story of what the grandmas have to teach. Slow down and walk with them. It’s not often that the younger ones do slow down and walk with them. (Very condensed version)

I tied this in with how slowly Lillian walks. I have to consciously make myself slow down to her pace … And many times I find myself way ahead of her, having sped up again.

Last night I set an intention of walking at her pace. I stayed even with her almost the entire walk. Need to do that more often!

Slow down ….. Notice things usually gone unnoticed. Slow down. Notice who or what you may have left behind. Let go of the “things to do” …. For just a little while. xoxo

After dinner walk with Thomas tonight. As we were driving home on Sunday from the Round Dance gathering, he looked over at me and said, “I love you.”

He had such a meaningful experience and I’m so happy I took him with me. Blessed that we take these walks and uncover life’s truths together.

Taking Pictures and Jumping and Eating Grapes and Walking in the Rain

September 13 2016:

This opened my heart. So blessed and loved that we went for our after dinner walk in this spot and at this time.

All 3 of us took tons of pictures, had a ball jumping on the hill for pictures, eating grapes straight from the vine, and ended by walking in pouring down rain and strong wind!! Check out the moon on a stick!!

Thomas said he wouldn’t have wanted to be anywhere else. Now we are going to bake a chocolate cake and make cream cheese frosting for Lillian’s birthday cake tomorrow. We may just eat a piece tonight!

Sunset or Sunrise – Lillian

September 9 2016:

On our walk tonight Lillian answers a friends question … Which do you like better, a sunrise or sunset? Plus, she shares about a huge accomplishment she achieved today! Got a question for us? xoxo

What She Likes Best About Our Nature Walks

September 5 2016:

Walk tonight with Lillian. It’s getting cooler for these walks and still so beautiful! The killdeer were being really vocal tonight! Lillian answers a question from one of our friends in this one. Have a question you want answered? Let us know. xoxo

Walk With Me – The Simpler Approach

September 3 2016

I am moved to add a “simpler” version to the “Walk With Me” nature-based coaching sessions I offer.

This offering does not include coaching, we simply take a walk together. The charge is $10/mile. The little lake where we live is about a mile and a half when walked around twice, so that would be $15.

We take our pets for walks as we know it’s good for them. Why not take ourselves for walks too? We can walk in silence, we can chat, or I can help you to reconnect with nature and inner peace. If you decide you’d like to add coaching or mentoring that can certainly be added …. xoxo … Go here for more information.

Romano Duo Visit June 2016

June 26 2016:

We went over to The Romano Duo’s temporary home for the next 4 days. Had some fun at the pool. They get to have a sleepover Monday night!! First night of respite for me since last August. xoxo

We had company for tonight’s walk! They got to see the ducklings, goslings, comorants, a huge frog, and the beaver! YAY!

June 27 2016:

They just left for their sleepover with the Romano Duo! First, we all went for a swim and had lunch poolside. Now, they’re ready for some Duo lovin’! And I get the first time alone at home since last August. I love hanging out with Team TLC all together, yet I am going to cherish every moment of this alone time. xoxo
