I went for walk this morning.
Not unlike many mornings over the past 17 years. The meaning and depth of the walk has shifted throughout the years. What began as a way to exercise and get fresh air has shifted to be much deeper than that.
I have experienced many mindful walks. Walking slower than usual, listening, feeling, and smelling in silence.
Yet, this morning I knew it was …

Dinner on the patio and we discovered this wee fuzz ball stuck in a web. Due to the wind blowing, it was dancing the night away. So cute!!

After dinner walk with Lillian Darnell. There’s nothing better than a walk with my loves. I cherish every walk taken with each one of them. Every walk …. Since they were wee tiny ones growing within me. She and I have taken walks together for nearly 17 years! And Thomas and I for nearly 13 years! Love, sweet love. xoxo

Today’s Walk With Me theme was all about new beginnings. Brand new buds opening so tender and delicate. Fluffy and sweet goslings eating and being protected by their parents. Spring is a wonderful time for new beginnings …..

The pool is being filled with water!!!! We went to the lodge after dinner just to watch the water pouring in for a few minutes. It takes days for it to get full. So cool!! We get to swim soon. Yay! We also saw the beautiful moon framed by these magnificent trees.

These two have their “hands” full!! 14 babies!!! That’s the most I’ve seen so far! So sweet and cute!

Thomas and I had a wonderful walk in the rain yesterday afternoon!
He’s created an entire new country of the lake with the sandbar as home base. Complete with ports, a capital, currency, military (ducks and geese), and much more. We spent much much time discussing this.
And, squeal!!! Got to see our first duckling!! Cutest lil peep peep sound!! Topped off with a carpet of pink blossoms. They’re even beautiful when the wind blows them from the trees.

Thomas and I had a beautiful walk this afternoon. I’ve had a couple of days of feeling a failure …. at everything.
I’m so incredibly blessed and grateful for nature and the time spent in nature alone, with Thomas, with Lillian, and all three of us together. xoxo

It’s been an afternoon of phone calls … Ingram Books, Createspace, and scheduling appointments for Lillian. Thankfully I went for a walk this morning and sat for a bit by the water. Ahhhhhh ….. (photo of where I sat)
Nearing completion of changes that need to be made so Lillian can have a book signing at the Reno Barnes & Noble and they can have them for sale there too! One form to fill out and email and then we wait for the change to process.
YAY for progress!!! xoxo
Am I alone in NOT liking to use the phone? Not sure what it is, yet, I will try all other non-phone communication methods before using the phone!

Thomas and I visited one of our favorite parks yesterday afternoon to hit tennis balls ….. Except …… Thomas put his racket down right before leaving so we arrived with one racket! Oh well … We made the best of it and had fun anyway! xoxo

Windy afternoon walk with amazing clouds. Plus, the white blooms have arrived! Nature’s art is truly breathtaking!

Lillian Darnell and Camilla April 2018 Date Day ….
First stop – Wilbur May Arboretum …. An amazingly beautiful and vibrant oasis. Incredible amounts of bird chatter too. Plus giant turkeys!! Ended with walking the labyrinth …. Love ending our visits here with this meditative walk!
Second stop: Parmesan sea salt fries for Lillian and oh so yummy green juice and coconut yogurt for me.
Then back home and to the lodge for eating our dessert of vegan ginger cookie for me and brownie for Lillian. Next up, UNO and reading. What a beautiful day!!
Last on the agenda: A walk around the lake. Deeply beautiful and peaceful. Sat for a while on a lovely huge rock with an amazing view.
