December 19 2017:
Spotted in the sky today. I mean …. Just. WOW.
November 21 2017:
Solo walk on this cloudy and cool morning.
This beauty caught my eye. Hanging out all alone while the other leaves are off playing in the distance.
On the one hand it displays beauty and confidence … and on the other, isolation and loneliness.
“The Key of Alchemy”
When ignored,
the darkness within
slowly erodes this physical body
When stuffed and buried deep within,
it silently grows stronger.
At some point along the path
and at many times,
the darkness surfaces.
Like a bullet train
or ever so slowly as a tortoise.
It will not be denied.
Keep turning our hearts away, we can.
Yet, the darkness will not depart
until it has space to be recognized.
The darkness, the shadows
only wish and pine for this space.
To be seen and accepted and felt
with compassion and deep love.
As the darkness is wrapped
in a loving embrace,
the transformation begins.
Acceptance, compassion and love,
serve to alchemize the darkness and shadows.
Transforming and melting the darkness
into the light.
The darkness may transform like a
freight train or may ever so slowly
transform as a tortoise.
Yet, it will transform when met
with love and compassion.
The irritation,
The anger,
The loneliness,
The despair,
The confusion.
Surface as they rub
the darkness within.
These feelings and emotions are the
key that allow an
opportunity to free oneself
from the suffering of denying
the darkness.
Freedom to live
consciously and authentically
is the gift this Key bears.
Oh, glory be,
the Key of Alchemy.

Shine
Shine bright dear one.
What your brothers
and sisters think
of your shine
matters not.
You see others shine,
and shrink even further
into the smallness of
not shining your light.
Each soul is meant to shine
in their own way
And no two ways will
be exactly the same.
Your shine is dulled by
years and years
of ignoring that
which creates the shine.
Dulled by messages received in childhood,
that you are doing it wrong,
that you don’t know how to do it.
Stories learned in childhood of
how one is supposed to live
how it’s supposed to be done.
The light is ever there.
It has not departed.
You have seen glimpses of it.
To allow the light to shine brightly
you must uncover what you buried
so deeply that you remember not
even having buried it.
What you have buried swings
like a pendulum.
One side, the victim
and the other, the judge.
Uncover it you must.
Face it.
Embrace it.
Know you can no longer
be hurt, or judged.
The vital step
of uncovering, confronting
and releasing cannot be skipped.
Fear has stopped you
from fully uncovering
what has been buried.
Eternal joy cannot be
Unless fear is
embraced by we.
I will face the fear
with you.
You are not alone.
Take my hand
and let us walk
together into
the darkness
and we shall emerge
as one to shine bright
and share love with
the world.

Treasures from this mornings walk. Bunches of love … xoxo ….
Notice nature.
Feel and smell the air.
Study the clouds and the trees.
Listen to the birds.
How many different kinds of songs can you hear?
What kinds of birds are they?
Injoy a sunset.
Notice and smell freshly bloomed flowers.
Notice and study new buds on a tree.
Notice the smell of newly fallen leaves.
Study the moon, stars, and clouds.
Walk barefoot in the grass, dirt, or sand.
Watch the waves in the ocean,
Or the ripples in a lake,
Or the rushing water of a river.
Notice the glimmer of freshen fallen snow.
Watch the sunlight dance and sparkle on the water.
Study all types of trees.
Get up close. Touch them.
Go for a walk for no reason other than to commune with nature.”

A beautiful walk with Lillian this afternoon to admire the beauty of nature. Complete with some amazing rock love.
“The eye cannot
Conceive the miracle
It beholds.
The beauty surpasses
The knowing of
The senses.
The heart knows.
Hallaleua!
The heart knows.
The heart remembers
How to fly
Into the mystic.
Delivering remembrance
To every cell
Returning us to
and revealing the oneness
Of all.” -2016 Camilla Downs – Author, Lessons from Nature
