December 27 2014:

“You’re different than the others.” – Thomas said to me last night.

He said my responses weren’t what people would normally say. Lillian was sticking her tongue out at me and my response was, “What a beautiful, sweet tongue.” and then she tried poking me and I said, “Look at those beautiful, crooked, special little fingers. Aren’t they just amazing?”

She’s got crooked pinky fingers and her ring fingernail is bumpy due to her chromosome deletion. I had been doing that throughout day. Guess it caught his attention. HA!

Celebrate Team TLC – A Family of Authors

What better day to officially celebrate? Here’s to a successful creation and launch of Where Would You Fly and the final book to complete the trio for Team TLC … Definitely not the last!

Where Would You Fly …. Biggest Little Photographer ….. Different iz Good – One Woman’s Journey to Acceptance

It reached the Top 100 on the US Amazon site and Top 50 on the UK site. It has flown to Australia, The Netherlands, Northern Ireland, England, and from sea to shining sea in the United States.

She has received the most beautiful and heart warming reviews on Amazon and two bulk orders. And the local Reno Nevada KOLO 8 news segment has been viewed around the world.

This definitely called for a pile of gluten free white powdered donuts! Here’s to pursuing ones calling. Here’s to doing it different. Here’s to stickin with it. Heres to vowing to listen to ones heart. Here’s to us. And, most importantly, here’s to YOU!!! Oceans of love!!

Lillian Independence Day

Every 3rd of the month is “Lillian Independence Day” … Lillian and I choose tasks that I still help her with and she takes them over!

This month: Using scissors to open plastic food packages (rather than asking me to open), brushing her hair after I wash it, and straightening her bed covers. I really like Lillian Independence Day!! xoxo

We got to add a few more pins to the map! A couple of more to Australia and bunches in the United States! Why is this map so fun? Hahaha!! We’re having a ball with it! If you click on the map it will take you to an interactive map where you can zoom in and out and move around the world!

Lillian cracks me up!!! This year for her multicultural project she chose hieroglyphics and for one of the genres she chose to write a letter. I explained to her last night that it needed to match the period and not mention modern stuff. Just got done reading it! Awesome! Next we translate it into hieroglyphics using this cool website we found!

“Dear Winterius,
Hi there Winterius! I am bringing over your cow that I had borrowed in November through March. Even though it’s May I’m making my way over to your temple. Tell your mother I’m coming. It just happened that my animals had run away so I’m wondering if you can help me work. Is that okay with you? In fact, it’s the whole reason I’d borrowed your cow for. I’m very sorry that I didn’t tell you before because it’s so unusual for the animals to disappear. Are you married to anyone yet? You are 12. You should be married to a man named Sirius because he knows about all laws and is the pharaoh so you’ll be the pharaoh so when you leave for any dead pharaoh in any area to make a pyramid.

Ever wonder why the trees sparkle with water? Lillian wondered this and was inspired to write a story about it … She’s on a roll … Go Lillian Go! xoxo

Once long ago, there lived a family of trees in a faraway land of Tree Land. The trees names were Pine, Cherry, Apple, and Fire (also known as Delphine). They all lived happily in their home which was called the Palace of Fruit. One day, an invitation arrived at the Palace of Fruit.

The invitation had said that the Ice King was having a tree ball to find the perfect tree for him to decorate. After the family of trees read the invitation, they knew that they had to have the most beautiful dress ever.

So Cherry and Apple went to Fashionable Blooms Store to look for a gorgeous dress. Meanwhile, Pine and Fire went to Fairytale Blossoms Store for a pretty dress. Cherry and Apple realized that they were in the wrong store so they went to Fairytale Blossoms Store instead.

While Cherry and Apple were at Fairytale Blossoms Store, Pine and Fire also had realized that they had been in the wrong store. So Pine and Fire went to Fashionable Blooms Store instead.
