March 12 2018:
Team TLC sunset walk. Incredible variety of beauty by way of colors, clouds, ducks, coots, the sun, and dried mud. And this wee little wood fragment heart.
Check out the heart shaped mud clump I found.
At Thomas’ request we had a great time moving through feelings and emotions as we dug up chunks of dried mud. And we brought our clumps home with us! Just cause.

This lil cutie that I get to walk … She loved the snow today! Bouncing through it and chomping big mouthfuls. So fun watching her!

Solo walk earlier today for me. I stood next to this wonderful tree for a few minutes just soaking it in. It was a walk overflowing with knowing, noticing, and feeling natures abundance. xoxo

Sunny, peaceful, feel-good walk with Lillian this afternoon. Sat for a while this time.
January 30 2018:
Solo walk this afternoon. As many times as I’ve taken this same walk, I still come across new rock love. Love, sweet love …
February 2 2018:
Virginia Foothills Park this afternoon to hit tennis balls and enjoy a short walk.
I’ve been incredibly grumpy today which has involved much unfiltered commentary and language. I’m incredibly blessed I can share with Thomas and Lillian that, frankly, there was much anger within me today. And, I can further apologize for my colorful language, letting them know I’m doing the best I can at processing it.
And … they give me the space and understanding I need. Blessed we three chose one another. xoxo ..
My “word of the day” on Friday was an F-word that wasn’t Friday!! There was much anger and bitterness within me. I knew why it was there, and also knew it was a conditioned response.
So I did my best to let myself stay with it and not push it away. The discomfort was there most of the day, yet by end of day had released some and yesterday morning had released fully. It was an amazing and magical day!!

Lillian and Camilla January 2018 Date Day –
First stop: We shared Parmesan sea salt fries and jalapeño cheddar bread. Dessert of Mexican wedding cookie for me and gingerbread bar for her. Here’s to 15 and a half years of once a month Date days!!
Second stop – One of our favorite parks and walking trails for throwing the frisbee and a beautiful, peaceful, and quiet walk. xoxo
January 1 2018:
First walk of 2018 with Lillian. Incredibly beautiful and mild. And WOW! What a moon! Big, majestic, and graceful!! xoxo
January 3 2017:
Solo walk this morning. Stood next to this tree for a bit. To quote Thomas, “Incredibly poetic.”
I just love it when he notices and says this about scenery and events.
January 5 2017:
Wee little adventure this afternoon. We drove to Boca Reservoir. So incredibly beautiful. And. Cold. And. Wet. I swear the heart shaped rock has a face and is smiling!

Day 2 of the nature photo challenge. (From our walk tonight)
In Lillian’s compliment note to me Monday night she wrote, “I like the way you see nature. I like how you speak.” She blesses me so … xoxo
That this day will never be experienced again is what makes it so sweet. xoxo

Thomas and Camilla November 2017 Date Day –
First stop: Washoe Lake. I’ve only been here maybe two other times with no wind. How gloriously beautiful.
I truly needed a deep dose of Mama Gaia today and this was perfect for grounding and processing.
Thomas walked barefoot and dug in the sand. It was perfect for him too. He and Lillian had a huge argument as we were readying to leave.
I sat down, took off my shoes and socks, and slowly buried my feet and hands in the soft, cool sand. I was instantly relaxed and brought into this wonderful moment with Thomas. It’s difficult to even find the words to describe.
Last stop: Ice Cream!! Vegan Coconut Mint and Just Nog for Thomas and Vegan Coconut Mint and Just Chocolate for me! Of all the flavors I’ve ever tasted here, the Coconut Mint tops the list now! Love the texture and flavor – tastes like a Jr Mint candy, only better! We ate our ice cream with the amazing view at Audrey Harris Park.
Thomas also had a half sandwich and I had a cup of potato salad and macaroni salad.
