Thomas and Camilla May 2018 Date Day …..
First, Mexican for lunch with fried ice cream for dessert.
Next: Little Washoe Lake for playing in the sand, water, and huge driftwood. Part 1
Twelve years of monthly date days. I’m incredibly blessed he still loves these. And, please, I’m not boasting. It’s never too late to start having them.
And, it’s amazing how an aha moment one night can lead one to feel on top of the world the next day.

Team TLC extra movie night with The Romano Duo – “The Peanuts Movie”
Thomas says, “Good.”
Lillian says, “Good, funny, makes reference to the old comics and episodes, liked the music, and favorite characters are Snoopy and Woodstock.”
I say, “Not my style movie, yet, I was a glad to see the reference to Charlie Brown being liked by another student due to his character.”

This time I got a picture of her wings ….. The fairy that visits here stopped by the night before last! She has such fun and magical tales of happenings in fairy land!
Update: Four and a half years ago today, this photo was born! The one that now graces the cover of her debut book!!! And those fun and magical tales of happenings in fairy land are part of it! WOW!

Team TLC movie night: Lillian’s choice – “The Breadwinner”
Lillian says: “Very emotional, liked the story, good, great moral, favorite character is Parvana, and I thought the book was more kid friendly, and I liked it better.”
I say, “Heartbreaking.” from the movie, “Raise your hearts not your voices.” xoxo
Thomas says, “It’s what I expected and would like to have known more of the actual story.”

Was taking Thomas’ library books out of the bag for him. Among the Andrew Lost, Boxcar Kids, guinea pig books, and tons of books with world records and interesting facts; there are these books. You go Thomas, you go! Seriously, I am so curious to see what he will do with all this knowledge as he progresses on his journey! xoxo
May 1 2018:
There goes a piece of my heart. Thomas is headed to spend nearly 2 weeks with The Romano Duo in Surprise, Arizona. He’s incredibly excited!! I love love love that young man. Gonna miss him!!
He made it!!! The Romano Duo met him at the gate in the Phoenix airport! Now for the 45 minute drive to Surprise. Yay!!! He’s gonna have a great time! So glad he gets this respite!! Lillian’s turn at the end of the month.
May 2 2018:
He’s having a GREAT time!! I’m so happy for him! Hiking on the Waterfall Trailhead this morning with Frank and swimming this afternoon. Thanks so much to The Romano Duo for the pictures and treating him to such fun! xoxo

Thomas is thoroughly enjoying his respite time with The Romano Duo (in Surprise, Arizona)! More swimming and a trip to the library (pictures are of the lake outside of the library). xoxo

Thomas continues to enjoy his vacation with The Romano Duo … Lake Pleasant a couple of days ago. Looks beautiful!! Also, I think I may have been disowned as I have not heard from Thomas in two days. (My mom is keeping me up to date though … Whew!) xoxo

The one called Thomas is on his way back to Reno via a car trip with The Romano Duo! Set to arrive tomorrow afternoon. On Wednesday, he got treated to a drive to see the Grand Canyon!
This Thomas vacation was a great and uncomfortable learning experience for me …. AND I didn’t even go anywhere! I have to admit I was a tad bit jealous and sad as we both have had the Grand Canyon on our bucket list for quite some time! And, I wanted to be the one he saw it with first. Yet, now he can be the tour guide when he and I get our chance to see it together. xoxo

Dinner on the patio and we discovered this wee fuzz ball stuck in a web. Due to the wind blowing, it was dancing the night away. So cute!!

After dinner walk with Lillian Darnell. There’s nothing better than a walk with my loves. I cherish every walk taken with each one of them. Every walk …. Since they were wee tiny ones growing within me. She and I have taken walks together for nearly 17 years! And Thomas and I for nearly 13 years! Love, sweet love. xoxo
