First stop – Wilbur May Arboretum …. An amazingly beautiful and vibrant oasis. Incredible amounts of bird chatter too. Plus giant turkeys!! Ended with walking the labyrinth …. Love ending our visits here with this meditative walk!

Second stop: Parmesan sea salt fries for Lillian and oh so yummy green juice and coconut yogurt for me.

Then back home and to the lodge for eating our dessert of vegan ginger cookie for me and brownie for Lillian. Next up, UNO and reading. What a beautiful day!!

Last on the agenda: A walk around the lake. Deeply beautiful and peaceful. Sat for a while on a lovely huge rock with an amazing view.

Movie Night: Leap!

Team TLC movie night: My choice – “Leap!” … Put this on hold at the library back in December. Our turn arrived!

I say, “Sweet and heart warming.” Quotes from the movie, “Never give up on your dreams. If you never leap you’ll never know what it’s like to fly. Always follow your heart.”

Thomas says, “It could have been a lot better. The boy died 20 times and the girl broke every bone in her body. Had the same message as many other movies about follow your dreams and never give up.”

Lillian says, “Good, inspirational, liked the music, favorite character is Felicie, like the quote that if you never leap, you’ll never know what it’s like to fly, definitely recommend if you want to be inspired and recommend no matter what.”

The Universe is Calling

A wonderful book about prayer. I really enjoyed learning the author’s view.

” …. the ocean is in the wave. The wave is nothing more nor less than the ocean expressing as a wave.”

And one of my favorite quotes from Thoreau is in the book too …

Fear Alchemized – Who Will Love Them Unconditionally?

As she took in the message that family means much more than those whom she was born amongst, she felt deep sadness within for having not a close relationship with those whom, by blood, she is connected. A deep sadness also for having not friends or community that are like family.

Team TLC Movie Night: Lillian’s choice – “Coco” …. I put this on hold in December at the library. It was finally our turn!!!

Lillian says, “Good, amazing, great, cool, liked most of the songs, 100% recommend … especially around Halloween … and my favorite character was Mama Coco.”

I say, “Wonderful story of forgiveness, customs, beliefs, passion, and purpose.”

Thomas says, “It could have been better. I liked the idea. By the end of it the music was kind of getting annoying. I think it’s really interesting that if you’re forgotten you die again.”
